Nice size group of 16 or do persons, Very thorough safety orientations and instructions of handling the kayak......nice environment for kayaking, safe and calm waterway, quite relaxing. Would have love to go inside the mangrove area, but limited time!
We appreciate you leaving us a 5-star review! It is great to hear that you enjoyed your time out on the water with us.
Highly recommend adventure Kyaking SA. I had a great kayaking tour with my son who also loved it. Great company, very professional & friendly. Couldn’t fault them!
Thank you for leaving us a wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear that you and your son enjoyed your tour with us.
Appreciated their patience with us as tourists and beginner kayakers. The lessons on mangrove biology and dolphin behavior were super interesting. We had dolphins coming right up by our kayak, and were navigating through the dense mangrove roots like experts, by the end.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave a great review! It is amazing to hear that you enjoyed your time exploring and learning about the dolphin sanctuary with us!
Guides were good & knowledgeable, but overall tour was short. Kayaking was definitely beginner friendly, slow paced and too short.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us some feedback. Our 90min Mangroves tour is designed as a beginner friendly tour so the varying abilities of the group often will govern the pace. If you are looking for a longer tour, please consider our longer 3 hour Mangroves & Ships Graveyard tour. It is great to hear the positive feedback on our guides, we will be sure to pass this onto them!
This is the 3rd time my nephew and I have joined Adventure Kayaking SA. It’s always a joy and the guides are always so helpful and friendly. On this occasion we had Lydia who was so lovely and personable. Thanks Lydia. We will be back!
Thank you so much for your kind words and we are so glad you had such a wonderful experience.
the tour was cancelled and refunded. The cause was probably too strong a wind. Actually no problem at first, but we only got the info after we got an Uber for 35€ and found no one on site. The Uber was gone and so was the cell phone reception, i.e. we walked about 3km (to have reception again) and then ordered another Uber for the way back
Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback. We are sorry to read about your experience. We have been unable to identify this booking without further details. Our team always contacts customers by phone and email when a tour is cancelled, and we attempt multiple times where possible. For many international visitors we do not receive a working local number, which can make last-minute contact difficult. We would like to look into this properly. Please email us with your full name, booking reference, tour name and the date you were due to travel. This will help us give you a more accurate response. You can reach us at bookings@adventurekayak.com.au
A great afternoon kayaking through mangroves. We didn’t see dolphins on the tour but we did see them just before we started. No guarantee you will see them so don’t be disappointed. The guides were brilliant and knowledgable. Would highly recommend great value. Note that the kayaking stop on Garden Island has no facilities other than toilets and a fresh water tap, so don’t expect to get snacks or a coffee. The team provide sunscreen and a full briefing so excellent for beginners and kids too.
We appreciate you leaving us such a great review! It is awesome to hear that you enjoyed the tour and some great advice for future visitors!
Beautiful area of Adelaide worth exploring. Efficiently organised. Adventure Kayaking SA provides a 90 minutes trip which suited us best ( 3 hrs would be too long for us as we had limited time that day). Friendly and laid-back tour guide.
Thank you for leaving us a great review! We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us!
What a great way to spend a couple of hours in Adelaide. It’s a bit of a way out and there are no shops so take everything with you as instructed in your booking. We had perfect blue skies, cool breeze and calm water. Abbie and Shana were perfect hosts spending quality time with each group member on how to manage the kayaks and how to navigate through the mangoes. Unfortunately no dolphins in this occasion but the sheer luxury of being on water in 7000 year old mangoes was more than enough to make up for it. Highly recommended and definitely should be on your list of things to do in Adelaide!
Thank you for providing us with awesome detailed review! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed exploring the mangroves with Abi and Shayla!
Fantastic weather for our Mangroves Kayaking adventure yesterday. Dodge tide, beautiful calm water, sunshine with just a hint of a breeze... sadly no dolphins, but otherwise a perfect day out! Thanks to our guide, Abby, for a great tour of the mangroves. We'll definitely be back to do it again.
We appreciate you leaving us a great review! It is great to hear that you enjoyed being out on the water with Abi!
