El Palacio de Bellas Artes en el barrio de Marina District de San Francisco, California, es una monumental estructura construida originalmente para la Exposición Universal de San Francisco de 1915 con el fin de exponer las obras de arte allí presentadas. Una de las pocas estructuras que sobreviven de la Exposición, situada aún en su ubicación original. Además de albergar exposiciones de arte, sigue siendo una atracción popular para turistas y lugareños.
El Golden Gate es sin duda del puente más fotografiado del mundo y todo un icono de San Francisco. Vaya en coche hasta el mirador o baje al pie del puente en Fort Point para hacer fotos. Podrá hacer fotos aún mejores en Baker Beach, a pocos minutos en coche pasando el puente.
No hay experiencia igual que bajar por Lombard Street, la calle más sinuosa del mundo" en un GoCar al final de la excursión. Esta es una forma estupenda de disfrutar de una de las calles más emblemáticas de San Francisco.
Cruzará el Fisherman's Wharf de San Francisco, con sus bulliciosas marisquerías, panaderías y tiendas de curiosidades de camino al Golden Gate. ¡No se olvide de saludar desde el coche a otros turistas!

- ¿Se puede parar a lo largo del recorrido?
- Sí, usted decide el ritmo al que quiere ir. El coche siempre sabe la ubicación en la que se encuentra y puede aparcarlo donde usted quiera (aparcamiento para motocicletas o para coches) durante todo el tiempo que quiera, y tan pronto arranque el motor de nuevo, la grabación explicativa se reanudará.
- ¿Es obligatorio seguir el recorrido?
- Por supuesto que no. Si hay algún monumento en San Francisco que no está incluido en el recorrido y usted quiere verlo, sírvase del plano facilitado para llegar allí a través de las calles de la ciudad.
- Vehículos:
- Todos están dotados de un manillar de motocicleta, acelerador y frenos de mano. Los coches de tres ruedas tienen dos plazas y un maletero con llave para que guarde dentro sus pertenencias. Debido a su pequeño tamaño, aparcar es cosa de niños, algo que en una ciudad como San Francisco es de agradecer.
- ¿Qué velocidad alcanza?
- Hasta 35 mph (56 km/h). Recuerde que en San Francisco los conductores no suelen ir a mucha velocidad, por lo tanto una velocidad media de 30 mph (48 km/h) o menos es lo normal.
- ¿Se puede cruzar el puente Golden Gate?
- No, pero el recorrido le llevará a Fort Point. En este punto el puente se eleva a 60 metros por encima de usted. Los peatones pueden acceder al arco del puente desde el aparcamiento de coches en el mirador del puente.
- ¿Qué es un CDW?
- La exención de daños por colisión (CDW) es una forma opcional de seguro similar al seguro de alquiler de automóviles que limita su responsabilidad en caso de accidente. No es reembolsable. Si opta por comprar el CDW, su depósito para alquilar un GoCar es de solo USD $ 300.00 en lugar de USD $ 500.00

My experience wasn’t the best. Once arrived to the shop it was so unorganized. No customer service, no one offered help. I had to wait 30 mins after my appointment to be helped and I arrived 20 mins prior to my appointment. Finally when I get checked in, signed the waiver and watched the instructional video I was given keys. My experience on the GoCar sucked. The navigation didn’t speak out loud like it should’ve even though I stay on track. They said if you go off track it won’t speak but it didn’t speak while I was on track the entire time. We got lost then kept driving in circles. I booked a two hour trip but ended it after one hour because of the issues

We loved it, we explore the city and had amazing views! We where able to snap amazing pictures was a bit cold but we loved it

Had a few challenges with finding our way round with this tour. Fun cars & easy to drive but the map is terrible - too small to read. It’s easy to get off a tour route as the navigation does not tell you where to go at every intersection. She then stops taking yo you! Tip - use your own mobile GPS - you can’t see the on board one - and know where you’re supposed to be going! Also one hour is not long enough. Allow an extra hour for checking in and getting lost!

We were originally supposed to get the 3-wheeler, but it was very chilly that day. They let us have one of the enclosed golf-cart type cars instead. We had an absolute blast! I love the audio tour guide as we drove through the various areas. We could do our own thing or stick with the GPS route. Highly recommend!!

The ride was fine, but I had to wait one hour to get into the car and the GPS that I was supposed to fallow never work.

My reservation was at 12pm and it took a hour the get out of there and started my ride. It was 200 deposit because I rented 2 go cars and after I turn the car they tried to charge me 100 and I paid for insurance and the GPS was not working. I try to change the time of my reservation and they make it so difficult that I decide not to do anything and show up at the original time.

Our experience with GoCar was below average, beginning with the check-in process. The worker was occupied with trying to figure something else out, didn’t have our waivers ready to sign, and then passed us off to another coworker once we finally signed the waivers. The checkin process took about 30 min as a result. The GoCar was louder than expected - sounded like a motorcycle in noise level. It was so loud that it was hard to hear the Guided Tour speakers. Unfortunately our GPS stopped working about 30-40 min into our 2 hour tour. We missed all the information about the Golden Gate Bridge and Crissy field, which we were most interested in seeing and learning about. We ended up getting lost due to the frozen gos/tablet. We called the service number and were told someone would FaceTime us to help and no one called us back. It ended up being incredibly stressful being lost with cars beeping at us behind us. The gocar doesn’t have a good turn radius and does not go in reverse. We had to turn around at one point because we were lost and had to get out of the GoCar in the middle of the road to push the car back to full make the turn, all the while cars on the street were beeping at us. Thankfully the GoCar staff agreed to give us a 50% refund, which is why I am not giving this 1 star. However, overall it was a stressful and unpleasant afternoon and I will not be using their services again. GoCar needs to update their technology to prevent the “overheating” that the worker claimed was the issue, however we never stopped long enough for the tablet to be exposed to the sun long enough to overheat. It simply sounded like a poor excuse for old outdated tablets/technology.
