La basílica de San Nicolás es un importante destino de peregrinación tanto para católicos romanos como para cristianos ortodoxos y una de las atracciones más importantes.
La catedral es la sede del arzobispo de Bari-Bitonto, dedicada a San Sabino, obispo de Canosa, cuyas reliquias fueron traídas aquí en el siglo IX. Aquí podrá apreciar las murallas romanas subterráneas llamadas Succorpo.

Piazza Ferrarese siempre ha sido uno de los puntos de acceso al casco antiguo que, con sus calles estrechas, callejones y pequeñas aberturas, se extiende desde Piazza Ferrarese - Piazza Mercantile hasta el castillo Normanno-Svevo. Durante la reciente restauración, que involucró no solo a la plaza sino también a los edificios circundantes, salió a la luz un pequeño tramo de la antigua Via Appia - Traiana, construida por los romanos a principios del siglo II d.C.
La plaza siempre ha representado el corazón de las actividades comerciales y administrativas de la ciudad debido a la presencia del mercado de la ciudad (actualmente no en esta área) y del palazzo Sedile, que es el punto de referencia histórico del Ayuntamiento de Bari. Great experience, fun biking around the city. Well organized. It does get hot during the afternoon hours so either morning or late afternoon is a good option.

The bike tour with the inspiring Dorothea was an experience. We have seen and experienced a lot in an entertaining way. She had an answer to all the questions. You can tell that she enjoys the tours herself. We had a lot of fun making pasta. Everyone liked it!

Can’t recommend this tour enough! Fredrica was a fantastic bike guide throughout the city and surprised us with delicious focaccia bread mid tour. While we waited for our pasta making experience, Alessio gave us a ride around town via pedicab, eventually ending at a nonna’s home to make pasta. The pasta making experience was fun as a couple and an authentic experience. All the staff spoke English well (our nonna did not but Alessio stayed as translator) and were very friendly!

It was great fun and highly recommended. The start was a little less because our mother fell with the bike (high step), but Julia solved this super well. She asked several times how our mother was doing and offered to convert the bike ride and go with a Riskja. An hour later we started and Julia showed us many beautiful places and told us very enthusiastically. Making the pasta was a fun experience. The 'nonna' shows how she makes the dough and then you make the pasta ears yourself. You also get a plate to taste. All in all a super nice afternoon and all compliments to Julia who told with passion about the city and gave us many tips.

It was such a pleasure! It was a rainy day so they offered us different possibilities…walking, ride the bikes with rain jackets or take the Rikscha. We chose the Rikscha and had so much fun with Anna! Such a funny and also strong person 💪😉 And also the cooking with Vincenzo was such a funny experience. We feel safe to “produce” our own Pasta at home now and laughed a lot. Thanks to these amazing people for this beautiful Day! 🫶🏼
