Recorrido económico por la comida callejera en Campo de Fiori, gueto judío y panteón con helado

Únase a este tour en grupos pequeños para degustar la auténtica comida callejera de Roma y sus establecimientos de comida históricos. Descubre algunas de las zonas más hermosas del centro de la ciudad mientras degustas deliciosas especialidades para llevar que los romanos han estado comiendo durante siglos. Pase 2,5 horas caminando por algunos de los distritos más interesantes de la ciudad, como la plaza Campo de Fiori, donde por la mañana tiene lugar un mercado local de alimentos, donde tendrá el primer acercamiento a la comida italiana y degustará el mejor aceite de oliva italiano y cremas para bruschettas. Luego, avanzará lentamente hacia el gueto judío, donde su guía le contará cómo y cuándo se creó el gueto en Roma, hasta los acontecimientos de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Aquí degustarás una típica comida callejera romana/judeo, que según el seanson podría ser una alcachofa frita o una flor de calabacín. Dejando atrás el Gueto Judío, te dirigirás hacia la zona del Panteón y en el medio verás rincones escondidos que no podrías descubrir por tu cuenta.

Francesca was a fantastic guide incredibly knowledgeable about the area food and history of Rome. We visited some amazing street food places and also enjoyed some local beer and wine, would highly recommend and wished we did the rip when we first arrived
We met Francesca under the statue of Bruno in Campo de’ Fiori. From there, we went on a delicious walking tour of the city, passing through areas I had not previously explored. My teens enjoyed the experience and tried new (and some familiar) foods. My daughter said it was a fun way to learn about the history of Rome. We highly recommend.

Although somewhat skeptical of the idea of a 'street food tour', my other half and I really enjoyed this evening experience in Rome. The selection of eateries was good, with a fair bit of variety, and there was enough to eat so that dinner was not required afterwards. We also learnt a lot about the area as well as the local food. Our guide was friendly, knowledge and well-organised. Finally, the tour represented good value-for-money, which can be a bit difficult to obtain in what is, these days, a trendy section of the tourist market in Europe..
The start of the tour was at a cozy market fiori flower market called in antiquity, the guide was sympathetic enthusiastic young man, we have eaten enough, only I found that the stall of balsamic vinegar and pesto where we tasted the vendors force you to buy more than you actually wanted, also my suitcase had to be opened at the airport because of the jars of pesto but was allowed to take, furthermore lots of pizza and other goodies, glass of wine, beer too. All in all a nice tour.
Mattia was an excellent guide. It wasn’t just the food that was great for our first evening in Rome, but I really appreciated the historical and cultural information Mattia had to offer.
