Itinerario

David’s tour was the highlight of our trip! We were with him for a full day and I don’t feel like it was enough. We had a group of ten, 4 adults and. 6 kids from Louisville, KY. We did a walking tour of the Gothic quarter that really gave us a full perspective on the city, stopped for great local food and drink along the way and then ended the day with Sagrada Família tour. His passion for the city and sharing the culture shown through! Our favorite highlights were the Roman Ruins, conversation over tapas, and finding the Sant Jordi dragons. He somehow kept the right balance of pace and interest for your entire group. Muchas Gracias David! We hope to see you again!
David is one of the best guides we have hired! He is so knowledgeable and personable. You feel like you are traveling with a friend. He made our time in Barcelona so meaningful. We could not give him a higher recommendation
Dear Roam793486, Thank you so much for your kind words — they really made my day! I truly love what I do, and nothing makes me happier than knowing you felt like you were exploring Barcelona with a friend rather than just following a guide. That's exactly the experience I try to create for every guest. As for being the best guide in Spain — I wouldn't go that far! There are so many incredibly talented and knowledgeable guides out there. What I can say is that I give everything I have to make sure every guest makes the most of their time in Barcelona. I hope Barcelona treated you well beyond our tour, and that your travels continue to be full of great experiences. If you ever come back, I'd love to show you more of this wonderful city! Best regards, David
Key takeaway: Must get Nestor as your guide. While tour is a bit pricey, he made it all worthwhile. Unfortunately, we visited Barcelona during one of the rainiest periods in recent history - but it really didn't make a difference as our guide made the city come alive for us. Not only did we get a full Gaudi experience, but the tour of the old city offered a counterpoint to the architect that has grabbed everyone's attention. Also, the lunch spot that Nestor found for us offered the best selection of tapas. Even better: the morning hot chocolate and churros was a delight. The hot chocolate is not like anything you will find in the states - deliciously thick and decadent!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review and for highlighting Nestor — we completely agree, he's an exceptional guide and we're proud to have him on our team! Regarding the price: we understand this tour may not be among the cheapest options, and that’s because it’s designed to offer a truly premium and worry-free experience. The tour includes: 8 to 9 hours with a licensed official guide Entrance tickets to three of Gaudí’s most iconic landmarks: La Pedrera, Sagrada Familia, and Park Güell A traditional churros and chocolate breakfast A full tapas lunch at one of the best-rated restaurants in Barcelona Transportation between sites (using taxis to move efficiently through the city) It’s also worth noting that, since the booking was made through a third-party platform, we do not receive 100% of the retail price. From the amount we do receive, 21% goes directly to taxes (VAT in Spain), and a significant portion is dedicated to ensuring fair and competitive compensation for our professional guides. We are extremely selective when choosing who represents us — we believe that the right guide, like Nestor, can transform a good tour into an unforgettable one. Behind the scenes, a lot of care and planning goes into crafting each experience — from coordinating entrance times and managing logistics, to selecting local food spots and weaving together the city's highlights in an engaging and authentic way. Our goal is to make every guest feel like they’re discovering Barcelona through the eyes of a passionate local, not just ticking off tourist stops. We’re very glad that, even with the rainy weather, the tour was memorable for you. Thank you again for joining us, and for taking the time to share your experience with future travelers. Wishing you many more wonderful travel experiences ahead! 🌍
Great tour with a very nice and knowledgeable guide. I highly recommend it. You can learn a lot about Barcelona history and it's architecture in just one day.
Super experience with David. We saw lots of things from Barcelona. Very good with the timing. Visiting barrio Antiguo,la sagrada familia, park Guell. La pedrera.A very revomended tour guide
Everything was amazing - I spent along time wondering what was my favourite bit. But I think I loved it all for different reasons - you just have to se it all. David was an amazing guide and gave us the right amount of time and information in all the places. - The world is just such a beautiful place and a david showed us this beauty though his eyes and knowledge ( he also knew all the best places to eat - YUM )
Thanks a lot, Jackie, I loved spending a couple of days with you and your sister. It was a lot of fun and we got to see so much and try quite a good amount of delicacies. I hope to see you again in the future when you'll bring your husband. Best regards.
David Chacon was referred to me by a good friend who spent several weeks in Barcelona, so we connected by email with David prior to our trip. David made it a point to be completely connected to us prior to our pickup and we spent the entire day listening to him tell us the history of everything we saw. He speaks perfect English and was so very easy to be with! Our biggest and most memorable of that tour is definitely La Sagrada Familia!!! David took pictures of us inside the cathedral that will make a perfect Christmas card!! He is definitely a fabulous tour guide!!!
Dear Candy, thank you very much for this great review. It really was a pleasure meeting you all and showing you around this beautiful city which is Barcelona. Best regards and hope to see you again in the future.
David was a wonderful, fun, knowledgeable and accommodating guide. He did a great job balancing facts with humour. He matched the tour to our interests and energy levels. Nothing was a problem. Highly recommend 👌
Thank you very much Tammie @VibrantWomenTravel for your review. It really was a pleasure spending 1'5 days with your group of women from down under! it's easy to have fun when there is such a good vibe in a group :)
David gave us a fabulous 10 hour tour with so many highlights of the city. We sampled amazing seafood and other food for lunch. This was the best way to see so much of the beautiful city of Barcelona with such limited time.
Thank you Katie H @U1266POkatieh for your review. Yes it was a long day, but there is so much to see and you had only 1 day in town, I just tried to put togheter as much as possible and we still left some interesting places for the next time. Best wishes to the entire family! I loved spending the day with you.
