La herencia de Chalk Hill comenzó con la llegada de John Harvey a Adelaida en 1839, cuando había alrededor de 6000 personas viviendo en Adelaida. Calculamos la hora de recogida una vez que conocemos la ubicación y la hora de apertura de la primera bodega, algunas abiertas a las 10 am y otras a las 11 am. Todos los pasajeros deben estar listos a tiempo para que el día funcione perfectamente.

We have booked with George for the past three years for our McLaren Vale wine tour and will continue to book with him every time we come back. A brilliant day that we’ll remember for a long time - 4 guys and a wonderful day of wine tasting! George was so friendly and knowledgeable, so we could relax and he drove us to some beautiful places in McLaren Vale that we wouldn’t have known - the highlight being D’Arenberg and “the cube” there - a must see! I’ve told lots of friends and highly recommend George (he even played our favourite music on the way back to Adelaide!). Do yourself a favour and book this - you won’t be disappointed! Great wine tour visiting four very different wineries each offering very good wines to taste. Had a nice lunch on a wineyard with great views over the wines. The guide was superb, very knowledgeable and helpful even taking us to an extra 5th place for a glass of shiraz. We had a great time

George took my wife and I on a simply amazing day tasting wine through the McLaren Vale. While we were a bit time crunched, needing to get back to our cruise ship, we were still able to get four wineries, some breakfast, and great lunch in during the day. George couldn’t have been any friendlier and the best guide. We’ll definitely use him again if we make it back to Adelaide.
