A las 9:30 comienza nuestro recorrido a pie desde Tremezzo, pueblo típico que mira la parte central del lago, frente a Bellagio y Varenna. Caminamos desde Tremezzo a Ossuccio a través de un antiguo camino de conexión, la "Vía Verde del lago" descubriendo caminos suaves, rincones escondidos de la historia local y encantadoras vistas al lago. Llegamos a Ossuccio y desde allí a la isla de Comacina en bote público. La isla de Comacina es la única isla del lago de Como, uno de los sitios arqueológicos más interesantes del norte de Italia a principios de la Edad Media. El área, llamada Zoca de l'Oli por su clima templado, está cubierta por vegetación mediterránea y olivos para la producción de aceite local. Desde la isla de Comacina, viaje de regreso en bote público a Ossuccio, desde Ossuccio a pie hasta Villa Balbianello, en Lenno. Villa Balbianello se encuentra en un promontorio boscoso en el lago de Como. Esta elegante y romántica mansión del siglo XVIII y su magnífico jardín han acogido a escritores y viajeros, incluido Guido Monzino, el último propietario.

Isola Comacina es una pequeña isla boscosa del lago Como de Italia. La zona, llamada Zoca de l'Oli por su clima templado, está cubierta de vegetación mediterránea y olivos para la producción de aceite local. La única isla del lago de Como se encuentra entre los sitios arqueológicos más interesantes del norte de Italia de la Alta Edad Media. La isla estuvo sitiada durante mucho tiempo por los lombardos al mando de Authari. Villa del Balbianello es una villa ubicada en la cima de la pequeña península boscosa de Dosso d'Avedo, en la rama suroeste del lago de Como. Villa del Balbianello es famosa por sus elaborados jardines en terrazas, con una famosa logia que permitió a los espectadores admirar dos panoramas diferentes del lago, de este a oeste. La ubicación de la Villa también se utilizó para películas famosas: Star Wars (2002), Casino Royale (2006), His Demise (2016), Un mes junto al lago (1995) y muchos otros.
Desde Tremezzo, caminando a través de pueblos antiguos y senderos suaves, caminaremos hasta Ossuccio a lo largo de una antigua vía de conexión romana, la "Vía Verde del Lago" (aproximadamente m 100 de diferencia de nivel, unos 8 km). Por cierto, panoramas encantadores en el lago, la naturaleza y la historia local.

Great day on Lake Como. This walking tour took us off the beaten path and out of the crowds for a bit, walking through neighborhoods and visiting historic sites on the island, then we had a lovely tour of the gardens of Villa Balbianello. Our wonderful guide Nadia was incredibly knowledgeable about the rich history of Lake Como, and provided lots of fun, practical information that only a local would know.
Nadia really knows her stuff. My husband and I took the private walking tour of Como and Nadia showed us great walking areas and was more than willing to help us plan anything else we needed help with.
Absolutely loved our walk. Our tour guide really knew her stuff. She even gave us ideas of other things we could do during our stay. 10/10 would recommend!
Nadia was an excellent guide! So great to connect with a local who grew up on the lake and is also well travelled! She took us on a nice scenic route away from the crowds giving us some great insight into the area. We walked a lot, learned a lot, ate lunch at a local restaurant and wrapped it all up with an amazing gelato. Highly recommend!

This was a tour of one of the most beautiful places in Lake Como. The gardens were amazing and the green belt magnificent. Alessandro was our tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly and is someone I would highly recommend for their tour. I five him 5÷ stars.
Exceeded our expectation! Our guide Nadia is very experienced and passionate, who shared with us many local treasures. The path we took is completely out of the usual touristy area. Our family of five including five young kids truly enjoyed the beautiful and educational walk with Nadia. Value for money!
