Comenzamos el recorrido con un breve paseo en funicular. La Polybahn nos lleva desde Central hasta la terraza panorámica frente al edificio principal del Instituto Federal de Tecnología en solo tres minutos. Tour of old and new town boat ride on lake and ride on gondola with great views of Zurich, guide was great!
The places seen on the tour were excellent. The guide was knowledgeable but he talked way too much. He would ask a questions and then we would have to come up with the answer no matter how long it took us which could be 5 - 10 minutes. We spent 30 minutes at a sealed up bunker in the city. He would start walking and then not tell us to follow. He would walk way ahead of the group. The worst part is the drop off was not the same as the starting point, so we had a further walk.

However, we are genuinely disappointed by the number of inaccurate statements in your review. Our tours are intentionally interactive. Rather than delivering a one-sided lecture, our guides engage guests with questions and conversations to create a memorable experience. Most of our guests appreciate this approach, as it makes the tour enjoyable and engaging rather than simply listening passively for hours. Regarding the guide walking ahead, on a guided walking tour it is generally understood that when the guide starts moving, the group follows. This is standard practice on walking tours and does not require a special invitation or a red carpet each time the group changes locations. As for the drop-off, the tour clearly ends in Zurich city center, a location chosen because it is convenient and easily accessible to everyone. Sorry that we could not drop you off directly to your hotel room, but there’s Uber, Taxi, Tram, Bus service available. What is particularly disappointing is that you omitted the extra effort our guide made for your group. On several occasions, he arranged private transportation between locations for your convenience, even though he could have simply followed the standard itinerary using public transport and an extra mile to walk. That was done purely to improve your experience and to make sure you’re not left behind. It’s your responsibility to keep the pace. We always welcome honest criticism because it helps us improve. Unfortunately, this review does not accurately reflect what happened during the tour or the effort our guide invested in making your experience enjoyable. Spreading false and misleading information is not the most respectful way to share your experience.
We loved this tour and all of its modes of transportation. Greg was a fantastic guide and provided lots of information. It was great that we stopped for lunch and there were bathroom breaks as well. I would highly recommend this tour.

Great tour for the value. Experienced and engaging guide!
Our guide was very knowledgeable on the history of Zurich. And he was very good at communicating lots of interesting details. As the weather was rather warm, he made sure we stopped in shaded areas when he wanted to go onto more detail about the areas we were seeing. I thought this tour was an incredible value given that it lasted almost 6 hours. We saw so much of the old town area on foot. We stopped for a 30 minute lunch break before we got on a ferry to see the many sights from Lake Zurich. And he made sure we got in line first to get the best seats on the boat. We left the ferry after 45 minutes and were met by a large passenger van to drive us to the cable car. The views from the top were extraordinary. Once back down, our driver took us back into Zurich for the end of the tour. We will use Viator again on upcoming trips!
Vasi was excellent at providing alot of interesting facts about Switzerland and he did an excellent job at keeping us on time as we rode the polycar, cable car, bus, streetcar and a boat. He is a very good tour guide and funny too! He really cares and about all of his people in the group. We really saw a lot.
