Las Mura di Pisa son las antiguas murallas de la ciudad de Pisa, construidas en el siglo XII para proteger la ciudad. Con una longitud de unos 7 kilómetros, ofrecen una pasarela elevada única con vistas panorámicas de los monumentos históricos de Pisa, incluida la icónica Torre Inclinada.
La Torre Inclinada de Pisa es una maravilla arquitectónica de fama mundial, conocida por su inclinación involuntaria. Este campanario independiente, finalizado en el siglo XIV, forma parte de la Catedral de Pisa. Con una altura de 56 metros, su inclinación icónica se debe a la inestabilidad del suelo de sus cimientos.
La Catedral de Pisa, también conocida como Duomo di Pisa, es un ejemplo impresionante de arquitectura románica. Construida en el siglo XI, cuenta con una intrincada fachada de mármol, grandes arcos y puertas de bronce. Ubicada en la Piazza dei Miracoli, forma parte del Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO de Pisa, junto con la Torre Inclinada y el Baptisterio.
El Baptisterio de San Juan de Pisa es el más grande de Italia y es famoso por su elegante arquitectura románica y gótica. Se terminó de construir en el siglo XIV y se encuentra en la Piazza dei Miracoli, cerca de la Catedral y la Torre Inclinada. Su cúpula única crea una acústica extraordinaria y el interior cuenta con una hermosa pila bautismal de mármol y un púlpito de Nicola Pisano.
El Camposanto Monumentale, o Cementerio Monumental, de Pisa es un cementerio histórico y sereno situado en la Piazza dei Miracoli. Construido en el siglo XIII, cuenta con un claustro gótico lleno de tumbas ornamentadas y antiguos sarcófagos romanos. Sus paredes estaban adornadas con famosos frescos, algunos de los cuales todavía son visibles hoy en día.
Hay algunas paradas más en el camino, pero las guardaremos como sorpresa para que tu experiencia sea aún más especial.

One of the best tours I've ever had. I've travelled the world and had many different tours and this was one of my favourites. The guide was engaging and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend. You could tell she was local to the area and had lived there for a while too, which really makes a difference. Fascinating site with so much history attached to it.

Great guide attended us, very didactic. Excellent visit and explanation about the history of the city and the famous inclined tower.
Our guide Alice was good, but worked out of a folder for most of the tour, compared to similar tours we've been on, this was expensive for what it was. It definitely doesn't need 1.5 hours to walk around the square and learn the history. Was nice to learn historical pointers but could've easily been done within an hour.

This was an excellent tour of the square in Pisa. Our guide, Alice, was so enthusiastic about her city and gave us a lot of interesting information. She also recommended local dishes to try. The tour lasted 2 hours and the time went very quickly.
For us this tour was perfect for the amount of time we wanted to spend in the Piazza dei Miracoli. Our guide Fanny talked about all the buildings in the piazza and also included general info about Pisa and its history.
Wonderful guided tour with guide Alice, very entertaining and entertaining, also for our children (14 years and 16 years). It brings history to life and you learn so much about the cathedral and its surroundings that you see it through different eyes afterwards. Clear recommendation, absolutely worth it!
After this beautiful trip through Italy, Pisa is one of my favorite cities, not only for its leaning tower, but also for its history and cuisine. This tour is the perfect activity to truly get to know Pisa.
