Un saliente verde que se eleva sobre el paisaje urbano ateniense, el Monte Licabeto es una de las características naturales más impresionantes de la ciudad. En este emocionante recorrido a pie de 3 horas, póngase los zapatos más cómodos y prepárese para conquistar sus alturas. A medida que suba, su guía le enseñará la historia mitológica única de la montaña; una vez que haya completado el pico, también tendrá la oportunidad de pasear por algunos de los distritos más tradicionales de Atenas.

Mientras bajamos nos detendremos en la plaza Dexameni. Dexameni significa cisterna en griego, la plaza tomó su nombre de una cisterna romana, el área era antes de un barrio de clase obrera, después de 1930 muchos artistas, poetas y escritores se marcharon. Podríamos parar para tomar un café en el café histórico que era el punto de encuentro de los artistas.
La plaza Kolonaki esconde un secreto que solo los locales conocen, lo descubrimos juntos.
Nos dirigimos también a la trilogía neoclásica de Atenas.
Nos dirigimos al antiguo Parlamento y, a través de la calle Kolokotroni, finalizamos nuestro recorrido en la plaza Monastiraki.

We were tired and it was hot and we didn't end up enjoying the overall idea or experience mostly due to that. The guide was knowledgeable but was a bit informal compared to our other experiences. Basically we just had too much heat and were exhausted.

Beautiful view of the city, good restaurant, tiring climb up to the funicular but as soon as you reach the top together with the church you can enjoy a beautiful panorama. Recommended to go there in the evening.
Amazing view. We were there for sunset and was crowded, as expected. Was not easy to find the fanicular car. A nice workout to get to the base of the hill. Worth the effort & a to do while visiting Athens
