Alven truly exceeded our expectations during this Harlem tour. Enthusiastic and very communicative, he shared in two hours the essentials of the history of this community and its great cultural wealth. My friends and I are delighted with this beautiful stroll in the heart of Harlem at a very reasonable cost.
Mr. George was a complete delight. His recollection of the history of Harlem was what I was hoping for. I hope they include more info about the Harlem Renaissance in future tours.
Excellent introduction to the developmental history of Harlem, the multiple ethnicities, the architecture, the culture, the life
Our guide William is terrific. I like his humor and knowledge. Most importantly, his commitment to and passion for Harlem are evident.
I love Harlem. I stayed there and will again to explore more of it. People from everywhere participated.
George was awesome. A beautifully kind man. Has lived in Harlem most of his life. Showed us some really off the beaten track spots. A great guide. Thanks!
George was a great guide. He was knowledgeable and engaging. He kept us interested and entertained the whole time. I highly recommend this tour. We covered lots of ground and saw a beautiful side of Harlem that I never would have if I hadn’t taken the tour.
A really great tour, so glad we did it. The guide, William, was extremely knowledgeable and obviously cared passionately about the subject matter and the people of Harlem. Thanks William for a very enjoyable morning. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting who would like to know more about the area.
A superb tour with George. Informative and well paced. I feel like we learned a lot from George, got a good feel for the neighbourhood and enjoyed the chat with the other members of the tour as well.
The tour guide was great! Very knowledgeable and friendly. He guided us through the lovely historic district and Schomberg center and made sure at the end that we knew how to get back to our hotel and recommended places to eat.
