Descripción
Fort Cochin está marcado por uno de los primeros establecimientos de comercio exterior en Kerala. El paseo por el patrimonio es un impresionante 1,5 km a pie, que nos lleva de vuelta a la década de 1500 cuando los portugueses, los holandeses y los ingleses estaban ocupados comerciando con la riqueza. La isla les proporcionó un lugar maravilloso para comerciar y actualizar. El paseo por el patrimonio nos reúne en diferentes monumentos que nos recuerdan estos hitos históricos. También visitaremos el paseo marítimo de Fort Kochi, y veremos la vida cotidiana en Kochi. El paseo dura 2 horas y es adecuado para personas de todas las edades y niveles de condición física.

It’s a very pleasant way to walk round Fort Kochi and listen to Vijesh (a lovely local tour guide) explain the history, architecture and culture of the area.

My wife and I came to India on business and stopped at several cities. We had a few days in Kochi to ourselves and decided to see the walking tour with Basheer. We are so glad that we did. Basheer was very kind and friendly and made sure to share with us historical and cultural aspects of each stop. He was very informative and knowledgeable. It was an eye opening experience. If you find yourself in kochi I highly recommend this tour. Recommend to anyone. Just be sure to have walking clothes.

Our guide Vijesh was fantastic during our half day tour of fort Cochin - he was knowledgeable on the history of the fort, great English speaking and funny and gave us many great tips for the rest of our trip too. Would thoroughly recommend for anyone’s trip to orientate the area.

The morning session of walking tour to experience the local daily life of kochi was enchanting to me. Local tour guide Vijesh provided us such a good information. This was an extremely interesting tour with a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. He gained us seamless entry into the major historical sites and museums in Fort Kochi and really put everything in context, and was happy to go at our pace! Highly recommend!
