Itinerario
Comenzará el recorrido reuniéndose con su guía amable y profesional en nuestro punto de encuentro en el centro de la ciudad en Piazza Venezia. Esta plaza ha sido el centro de la ciudad durante más de 2000 años y los arquitectos que dieron forma a la vista que vemos hoy van desde Julio César hasta Napoleón e incluso Miguel Ángel, ¡cuyo estudio de artista estaba en esta misma plaza! Aquí aprenderá sobre las diferentes influencias que dieron forma a Roma a lo largo de su larga historia y la convirtieron en la ciudad que es hoy. También obtendrá una vista del gran monumento Altare della Patria, más comúnmente conocido como el Vittoriano, ya que es un monumento dedicado al primer rey de Italia.
Desde Piazza Venezia, un corto paseo lo llevará a Largo di Torre Argentina, donde antiguos templos se elevan sobre el lugar real donde fue asesinado Julio César. Aquí aprenderás más sobre la increíble vida y la espantosa muerte de Julio César, cómo pasó de ser un soldado desconocido a gobernar un imperio, y por qué le fue arrebatado todo con tanta violencia.
Desde allí, el recorrido continúa hasta la hermosa plaza barroca de Piazza Navona para ver las famosas fuentes diseñadas por Bernini. Aprenda sobre su rivalidad con Borromini, el gran maestro que estaba construyendo la iglesia de Santa Inés al lado y la pelea a la que esto llevó, y vea el lugar donde Tom Hanks casi se ahoga en la película "Ángeles y demonios". Su guía también le dará una idea de la tradición de tomar un aperitivo en la plaza y le informará sobre los mejores lugares para participar en esta experiencia cultural italiana.

This was the best tour we had in Rome. Jamie was so knowledgable. He told us historical information well beyond the normal guide. His passion was infectious. When we are in Rome again we will ask for him specifically and take the same tour again. We highly recommend you take this tour. It's better than the large group tours where we are rushed through everything to complete the tour.

Very nice experience. Though we were running late because our map kept leading us to the wrong place, Daniel waited for us, and we weren’t disappointed. Daniel took us to many historical sites and was patient in letting us take time to take pictures. Even stopping to treat us both to some delicious ice cream. Not great, couldn't understand the tour guide very well with his American accent. also one of us was russian and one Estonian and understood nothing at all, he seemed like he couldn't be bothered and seemed quite anti Rome. The tour we paid for said includes coffee or Ice cream, but tour guide said he would only pay for I've cream.

On the day of the tour we had "Severe Thunderstorm" warnings and rain. On top of that, my partner woke up feeling under the weather. We asked if we could postpone the tour one day. Not cancel, not refund, just postpone. There were no tickets needed to any of the attractions...it was simply a walking tour. Even Viator reached out to the tour company for us. They told us (and Viator) no. Was hoping for a little grace and sympathy, but you won't get it from these guys. Plan accordingly.
