El Old City Heritage Walk es un recorrido a pie inmersivo por Hyderabad que te lleva 400 años atrás, a la época de los sultanes Qutb Shahi, que construyeron la ciudad y dejaron un legado cultural duradero. Mientras caminamos por las mansiones palaciegas y las mezquitas de una época pasada, también reviviremos la vida y la época de los Nizams de Hyderabad en este recorrido a pie. El paseo comienza en el famoso Charminar y termina en el Palacio Chowmahalla de los Nizams. Nuestra empresa está comprometida con el fortalecimiento de las comunidades locales. Itinerario
Charminar es un monumento que es un símbolo de la ciudad de Hyderabad. Fue construido en 1591 por Mohammed Quli Qutb Shahi, el quinto sultán de la dinastía Qutub Shahi para conmemorar el final de un ataque de plaga mortal en la ciudad. Nuestro guía lo cautivará con leyendas como la presencia de un túnel secreto debajo de Charminar que se conectó al Fuerte de Golconda, creado como un medio de escape para la familia real en momentos de angustia.
Visitaremos este famoso bazar de la calle para perlas y brazaletes.
Luego caminamos hacia la Meca Masjid, que es una de las mezquitas más antiguas de la India. La primera piedra fue colocada por Muhammad Quli Qutub Shah, el quinto gobernante de la dinastía Qutub Shahi. ¡Los ladrillos utilizados para construir la mezquita han sido hechos de tierra procedente de La Meca! Esta magnífica mezquita tiene capacidad para más de 10000 personas.
El último tramo de nuestro paseo nos lleva a Choumahalla. Es el Palacio de los Nizams quienes alguna vez fueron las personas más ricas del mundo. Algunas de las secciones más notables de este palacio incluyen una fuente de agua, autos antiguos, tallas intrincadas, lámparas de araña de cristal y el gran salón durbar. Durante los días de gloria de los Nizams, ¡hasta 7000 asistentes solían ocuparse de este palacio! Nuestra guía le dará una idea de la vida personal y política de Nizams de Hyderabad. (El Palacio Choumallah está cerrado los viernes. Si hacemos la caminata un viernes, no lo visitaremos)

It was a great experience getting the feel of the old city from a very knowledgeable guide.

Shashi was incredible! She did a fantastic job telling me all about the history of hyderabad. She took me to all the spots (the markets, the masque, the center etc. She is a wonderful guide , 10/10 recommend shashi! She did a great tour showing the culture of hyderabad/india. Would highly recommend for further tours!

Our guide Sashi was very knowledgeable and made it a great day out for us walking in the old city. Make sure to go to Charminar in the early morning when there are no crowds and it is cooler. There is a great view from the top. Chowmahalla palace is well worth a visit with beautiful gardens and the mosque was very interesting too.
Had a lovely time learning about Hyderabad old town history with Ms. Shashi for the half day tour. The tour was well structured with a mix of history and experiences such as watching the making of bangles, trying milk tea and the Osmania cookies. Ms. Shashi is very knowledgeable, kind and accommodating in regards to start/end of the tour. Highly recommended, especially for solo female travelers.
Srinu was incredible and this was such a great day. He gave me a big rundown of the history of Hyderabad as we drove into town. Then we walked through the historic town and the palace as I learned more about the incredible influences in Hyderabad over hundreds of years. He was so knowledgeable and answered every question! Then, we went to a few shops where he showed me some of the coolest authentic craft & artisan work still being done in the region. Really really awesome - cannot recommend Srinu enough.
Great experience on this tour. I went with my husband who was visiting Hyderabad for the first time. We were able to book this quite easily, and the communication from the staff about timings, meeting points etc. was very efficient. On the tour, we were able to locate our guide, John, easily and he even waited 5 minutes for us very kindly as we were running late. The tour was very informative, followed a good route and we had enough time to take any photos. All in all great experience and would totally recommend 100%!
