We booked the tour a day in advance where it was confirmed and the availability was clear for the day. Money paid and receipt issued. However on the morning of the tour the supplier phoned 15 minutes prior to the tour starting to advise that they had to cancel it because they didn’t have any tour guides available and they needed a minimum of 36-48 hours notice to confirm a tour. The booking website still offers same day bookings for alternative times and there’s no information on the website that states that there tours can only be booked so far in advance. Either the website needs to be update to not allow people to book and be charged for tours within the window they can’t be honoured or that they have enough tour guides available for all the tours advertised.
Janice really knows Belfast and Line of Duty. Lots of behind the scenes insights. Fun and personable. Very enjoyable. Highly recommended. Good value too.
A great tour seeing lots of locations where LOD had filmed and our (fabulous) guide had photos of the scenes to show us when we got there. Plenty of time to take photos and could ask any questions. Definitely recommend for any fans of the show. Only negative was it took us a while to find the shop for the tour so give yourself enough time to find the place.
A must-do for any fan of the series, many ‘wow’ moments. We wouldn’t have recognised any sites just walking around the city, you needed a guide (Janice) to point them out then show you a shot from the show. Janice was extremely knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts and stories. It was also a great way to get our bearings of Belfast as it was our first visit here.
Fabulous 2 hour walk round the city centre visiting iconic locations for Line of Duty scenes. We visited the HQ of AC12, police HQ, Jo's flat, various bars and cafes, the site of the ambush, the subway, and much more. Janice was very interesting and well informed, the laminated stills helped to contextualise the locations and the tour was really enjoyable. Highly recommended.
We loved walking around Belfast and having the filming locations pointed out. The guide was lovely and we had lots of chats about this amazing series. Fingers crossed it comes back!
David Francis was amazing as our guide and has a vast amount of knowledge and wit to make the tour really interesting and fun. My daughter Sarah and I met lovely people on our tour- Una, her son Paddy and Tina from England. From the outset we felt like a positive wee group of fans with our leader David.
Thoroughly enjoyed this walking tour of Belfast to see locations used in the TV series Line of Duty. I did this tour on my first day in the city so when I passed key sites on the following days it made me smile to know what scenes they were used in. On my particular tour was the guide (Lizzie) and a couple from Glasgow in Scotland, so it felt alot more personal with there only being four of us for the full two hours. Lizzie also threw in some general Belfast tour information while we were walking the streets, which I greatly appreciated having never visited before. My favourite stop (and I'm sure for many) was the iconic subway. Hold in there as it's the last stop on the tour. I passed it again the next day and took a couple of photos. I did this tour on a Sunday afternoon in March 2023. It rained off and on but wasn't too cold. I would recommend wearing sensible footwear and clothing for the occasion.
Our Line of Duty walking tour took us to parts of Belfast we'd never been to before- the good the bad qnd the ugly! Carole our tour guide did a super job of reminding us of iconic scenes from series 2 onwards which were filmed in the city. Photos of the actors in location across the city provided context which with Carole's energy and enthusiasm brought the tour to life. We had an amazing afternoon (despite the snow and the rain) - thank you Carole
The walk was excellent, our guide was very informative. Certainly a good way to see parts of Belfast you may not have got to. Definitely a must do for any LOD fan.
