Alfama no solo es uno de los barrios más antiguos y pintorescos de Lisboa, sino también uno de los pocos que no fue destruido por el terremoto de 1755. Por ello, la ciudad conservó su encanto familiar. De hecho, su apodo proviene del árabe «Al-hamma», que significa «aguas termales» o «baños». Decoradas con hermosos azulejos, las empinadas y sinuosas callejuelas de este barrio ofrecen impresionantes vistas a un mar de tejados de terracota y al río Tajo. Los aromas de la cocina tradicional portuguesa, los ecos del fado y las conversaciones de los ancianos portugueses hacen de este barrio uno de los más auténticos de Lisboa. Nuestro recorrido comienza en Rossio y pasa por algunas zonas clave antes de dirigirse al corazón de Alfama, donde también hará una parada en el Miradouro Portas do Sol, antes de finalizar el recorrido en la catedral. Nuestra ruta comienza en Rossio y pasa por algunas zonas clave antes de dirigirse al corazón de Alfama, donde también habrá una parada en el Miradouro Portas do Sol, antes de finalizar la ruta en la catedral.

El Castillo de San Jorge es un castillo histórico en Lisboa, capital de Portugal, ubicado en la parroquia de Santa Maria Maior. La ocupación humana en la Colina del Castillo se remonta al menos al siglo VIII a. C., mientras que las primeras fortificaciones construidas datan del siglo I a. C.

Very informative tour. Valeria was excellent and very knowledgeable. Half the tour is walking uphill but plenty of stops to break it up. Great photo spots on the way and at the top. Well worth it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was such great and informative tour - ideal to get a first taste of the multi dimensional city of Lisbon. Jack was a lovely guide, you could follow him easily - even for people who are not so firm in English, because he speaks clearly without any accent.
