Such an insightful tour! Sara is such an expert, talking through the entire museum and answering all our questions. Was incredible to see the synagogue and learn more about Jewish history in Rome. This was a highlight of our trip!
Our tour with Sara Terracina for the Rome Jewish Ghetto and Synagogue Small Group Walking Tour was one of the highlights of our stay in Rome. Sara was very friendly and informative about the Jewish history and culture of Rome and gave us alot of insight into the history of the Jewish quarter and the resilence of the Jews and the struggles they faced during the Nazi deportation era. We especially enjoyed the tours of the Jewish Museum and the Great Synagogue and all the details that Sara provided us about the institutions and all the artifacts we saw. Sara was able to bring to life an understanding of Jewish Roman life, past and present, through her detailed descriptions and excerpts of history as we walked thorough the Synagogue, Museum and the Jewish Ghetto. Sara's knowledge and personality provided us with one of the best tours we have ever taken.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We learned so much about the hardships the Jewish people have faced in Rome over the thousands of years and about the current community and how history has shaped it. It was a very informative tour of the Jewish ghetto. Our family learned a lot and continued to ask questions to further our understanding. This was a wonderful tour with an extremely knowledgeable tour guide, Sara Terracina. The details and information Sara was able to provide was so interesting and captivating. Sara was also only too happy to answer any questions we had. Sara also does tours to other parts of Rome and if we had of known this, we certainly would have engaged her to do the other tours. But unfortunately this was our last tour in Rome. We would certainly engage Sara next time we are in Rome.
