Guide is extremely knowledgeable and kind. Tour was fun and covered a number of interesting sites. It was excellent
Booking the tour and getting to the meeting place was super easy. They even would have picked me up from my hotel but as I know Hong Kong a bit I opted for a meeting place in the New Territories. Maggie has been a wonderful tour guide with a wealth of knowledge. I really enjoyed learning so much about Hong Kong, past and present, and seeing placing which as a normal tourist you would seldom. Maggie was very flexible and always made sure that my personal interest were met.
Just this one tour got us up to speed with knowing Hong Kong. Our guide was fantastic, listened to what we liked and tailored the walk. She was spot on with what she showed us, and her knowledge was fantastic. She also introduced us to a whole lot of things to explore on our own in ensuing days. The additional help in showing us local places close to us was great as well.
Thank you 535michellev. Celia had a fabulous time exploring the back streets of Hong Kong with both of you, from introducing you to our local food, to experiencing our fascinating villain hitting culture, to having a little fun with our Hong Kong lottery system! We hope your hockey group had a lovely week in Hong Kong too. Stay in touch!
We did two tours with Maggie, the real Hong Kong and the new territories. We arrived without knowing much and we left full of enriching and fascinating memories. It is so captivating to have a guide like Maggie who is absolutely passionate about her work. She is a very nice person and we enjoyed listening to all the stories that makes Hong Kong such a unique place. She is very knowledgeable and we can tell she is passionate about making Hong Kong a fantastic and unique experience ! We dared to try different food with her and wowww. In three words, theses tours with Maggie were fascinating, fun and rich. There is one thing I can say : Hong Kong is magical and thank you Maggie for the great memories.
Thank you, ReGinos2. We love it when our guests tell us how much fun they have during our tours! Snake soup, chicken feet, century old eggs... Both of you are so adventurous and that made the tour equally memorable for Maggie! She thoroughly enjoyed showing both of you around the city, providing deep insights into the real Hong Kong, as well as going off the beaten path to explore the New Territories together. Oh yes, thanks for sharing the photos with us via email too - we will hold these precious memories close to our hearts. Please keep in touch!
We didn’t have much time in Hong Kong, we did a private 4 hour tours two days in a row. It worked well- the tour started at 10am so we didn’t have to rush too much in the morning and Ivan took us to some great places for lunch. Ivan was very flexible, gave us lots of choices of things to see. He also gave us suggestion and public transport directions to places we could easily visit by ourselves after the tour in the afternoon & evening. Ski, who arranged the tours was very helpful and informative. Not cheap but well worth it to make the most of our time in Hong Kong.
Thank you, Paula F, for booking both our Real Hong Kong Tour as well as our New Territories Private tour. It was definitely our pleasure to welcome both of you to Hong Kong! Ivan sent his regards and hoped that everything went well for your surgery conference in Tai Chung! Knowing that both of you were in the healthcare industry, he was more than happy to customise the tour and focused more on the difference between Eastern and Western medicine. From his end, he learnt lots from both of you too! Ivan's already looking forward to catch up with you and have another glass of Tangerine Drink together!
Our best day in Hong Kong was spent with Maggie in the New Territories. The MTR is so efficient it was easy to follow instructions to the designated station and there was Maggie with a bright smile of welcome. She showed us places along the Tang Trail we would have wasted hours finding, opened doors that were labelled closed and more importantly helped us to understand the significance of what we were seeing. Being July it was hot but taking an umbrella worked well for both shade and rain. Maggie was such great company and so generous in sharing her very considerable knowledge that neither of us minded the heat. WE could not have asked for a better guide and the experience should be a priority for anyone interested in looking beyond the skyscrapers of Hong Kong. Merilyn, Victoria Australia
Thank you, Merilyn H. New Territories is an overlooked area of Hong Kong and we are delighted to be able to share these hidden gems with you. Indeed, Hong Kong's weather is humid and hot during July and August. As you have aptly put, we love to do all we can to mitigate these uncontrollable nature's effects by drumming up our enthusiasm for the tour. So it definitely made our day (especially's Maggie) to know that you noticed and appreciated our efforts. Once again, we are extremely grateful for your support. Hope to see you in Hong Kong soon again! P.S: Yes, at Big Foot Tour, we are privileged to have some exclusive access, which we always love to share with our guests. Come on a walking tour with us and let's go off the beaten path together!
Ivan was our tour guide and he was awesome. Showed up on time and took us to a temple with just locals. He shared a lot of cool stuff.
Thank you, Tony F, for going with us on a journey to see Hong Kong from the eyes of a local. We look forward to welcoming all of you back to Hong Kong one day, with more inside scoops of untold stories and local hidden gems!
