Had a terrible experience on the novice E bike trip. They "tested" you on a figure 8 course without telling you. I got stuck behind 2 bad riders and they thought I could not ride as well. They refused to let me go on the tour. I ride bikes weekly. Wouldn't let me go through the course by myself to"pass". What a joke. The whole place is tourist trap.I would avoid!!!!!!

We booked the Novice E-Bike tour for our family and paid nearly $400. Due to an unexpected beach emergency, we arrived at 12:15 PM for a 12:30 PM tour. Despite arriving before the scheduled start time, we were refused participation, denied any opportunity to reschedule, and were not offered a refund or partial credit. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of flexibility or customer service. Emergencies happen, and we were hoping for some understanding or an alternative solution. Instead, we lost $400 and received nothing in return. Very frustrating experience, especially for a family on vacation.
This was even better than we imagined! We almost skipped it, and I’m so glad we didn’t. The e-bikes were a fantastic choice because they let you take in so much more of the incredible scenery around you. The ranch is absolutely breathtaking, and our tour guide, Jessica, was amazing. She took the time to take photos for everyone, was incredibly knowledgeable about the ranch and surrounding areas, and even shared great recommendations for things to do if it rains. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience, and we’re so thankful we decided not to miss it!
My e‑bike tour at Kualoa Ranch was an unforgettable highlight of Oʻahu. The check‑in area was easy to find, and the team immediately made everything feel smooth and welcoming. We started with a practice ride and a clear, thorough briefing on how to use the e‑bikes — perfect for beginners and confidence‑boosting even if you’ve ridden before. Once we hit the trail, the fun really kicked in. The ride was easy, fast, and surprisingly effortless, letting us soak in every moment of the scenery. We cruised past spectacular overlooks, iconic film locations, and hidden corners of the ranch I never would’ve seen otherwise. Every stop came with cool stories, history, and new things to learn, which made the experience even richer. Our guide was fantastic — upbeat, knowledgeable, and made the whole tour feel personal and exciting. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Oʻahu. It’s the perfect mix of adventure, scenery, and pure fun. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
This is a bike tour, not an adventure bike. My family and I love to mountain bike. I would definitely suggest the advanced bike experience if you are going for a Mountain biking. We had to put our brakes on going downhill. It is very slow and extremely beginner. When they say it’s beginner it’s beginner. The guides were very kind, and if you’re looking for pictures, sightseeing, this is your thing. They are great. If you want to mountain bike, I’d book the advanced, do not take the beginner. Book their other one. But overall, our family had a good time. And we still enjoyed it, just not what we expected as far as riding mountain bikes. Put your mind in a tour mindset, and you’ll be great. It will be a fun great tour.
Not even close to be worth the cost. And our tour guide was the worst and made a mediocre experience absolutely terrible.
We enjoyed a fun bike ride with Lewis. He was a great tour guide, and seeing the ranch by bike is a great way to spend time outdoors, get a little exercise, see amazing scenery, and learn some history. I probably haven't ridden a bike in 15 years, but the equipment was good and the ride was easy.

E-Bikes were so the move! It was so fun (and so easy!) to ride around the mountains on our own e-bikes. We saw a bunch of the same spots as the other tours (e.g., movie stops), but our group was smaller and the experience was way more enjoyable if you are physically able. The e-bikes make it easy, so don't worry about effort. Price seems high, but it truly is a beautiful and fun experience. Food is also pretty good—I really enjoyed my shrimp poke bowl, truly! And the transportation to and from Waikiki was reasonable, and as long as you look at all your time options, you don't end up waiting too long on either end.
