This was an absolutely wonderful day. We ended up doing rainbow mountain and red valley which was well worth the extra 30 soles a person just based on the view of the Andes alone. Definitely our favorite part was seeing the strength of the Quechua people of rainbow mountain running up and down with horses carrying people, especially in comparison to our heavy breathing and slow walking. The altitude is something to watch out for as the air was very thin. Our tour guide Joel did a great job of providing us with necessary tips on how to make it through at such high altitude. In fact, throughout the whole process he was so organized and communicative which was so appreciated by our whole group. Also our driver Romario was great and got us there safely and promptly. Plus they played great music!
Joel is an excellent guide, very professional and provided clear explanations about Rainbow Mountain. The driver was safe, and the tour arrangements were well organized. However, the food quality was disappointing.

Wonderful trip. Our guide Monika was superb. She took great care in explaining the trip and maintaining time. The view on the road was great. The cost is unbelievably low. We had free meals. I would say may be an air conditioned minibus would have been welcome even at the expense of higher fare.
Congratulations to the guide Yoel for his hospitality, the clarity of his information, and the way—relaxed but responsible—in which he leads groups of almost 20 people on the excursions we took with him. The whole team deserves recognition!

Amazing and incredible once in a lifetime experience with amazing tour guide Monica and her team including the ATV specialist David and the wonderful wonderful native Peruvian people who with their horses in the high altitude helped us navigate this beautiful mountain and to see it is to believe it! The tour was amazing. The guide was very competent and always ready to help, if someone in the group felt sick due to altitude. The tour agency explained to us everything in detail.
