Te invitamos a pasar un día visitando el mayor laboratorio de desarrollo urbano barroco y sus alrededores. Cientos de iglesias dispersas, impresionantes basílicas, pequeñas iglesias medio ocultas en callejones abarrotados, edificios con soluciones arquitectónicas inusuales, portales, historias sobre las antiguas familias nobles, representan el precioso patrimonio del mayor florecimiento del arte barroco siciliano, que hace de estos lugares. , su ambiente y su paisaje realmente único.

Itinerario
El recorrido comienza en Ragusa Ibla con la visita del centro histórico de estilo barroco. Ragusa ibla puede considerarse un verdadero museo al aire libre, donde la opulencia del barroco de Iblean coexiste en sinergia con la naturaleza de las montañas de iblei. Aquí admiraremos la maravillosa catedral de San Jorge en Piazza Duomo, el "Portale di San Giorgio", un maravilloso arco en estilo gótico catalán que data de la década de 1400, el hermoso "Giardino Ibleo" y muchos edificios de estilo barroco.
Continuamos hacia Modica, cuyo centro histórico (Modica bassa), también está en estilo barroco. Las dos catedrales, San Giorgio, que domina el pueblo desde la cima de la colina y San Pietro, ubicada a lo largo de la calle principal, son dos ejemplos extraordinarios del barroco siciliano. Haremos una parada en la antigua tienda de chocolates Bonajuto para ayudar a explicar el proceso para hacer el típico chocolate local, hecho de acuerdo con una antigua receta de los aztecas traídos a Sicilia por los españoles durante su dominación. ¡Incluye degustación gratuita de chocolate!
Terminaremos con la visita del fascinante pueblo de Scicli, donde, una vez más, el estilo arquitectónico principal es el barroco. Cruzamos el fascinante paisaje lleno de empinadas paredes de piedra caliza, algarrobos, paredes bajas, pequeñas iglesias y canteras, y vemos lo que llamaríamos una gema en el corazón de Sicilia. Comenzamos el recorrido a pie por la ciudad con el Parque Arqueológico de Chiafura, donde se podrán ver las cuevas excavadas en la roca caliza donde muchas familias vivieron hasta mediados del siglo pasado. Luego, a partir de la Iglesia de San Bartolomeo, cruzaremos el centro de la ciudad con ricos palacios de estilo barroco e iglesias que hicieron que Scicli se convirtiera en parte del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO.

Ricardo was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable and easy-going. I highly recommend this tour. Modica chocolate tour needs to be scheduled ahead of time, so something to look into before going.
Roberto was incredible. So informative, flexible, and considerate. We saw so much. He stopped at numerous wonderful overlooks for photos. His knowledge of the history, geography, and customs of the area gave us insight of the area. He gave us choices of what to see and how to see them in each locale. Martino was great. We covered a lot of ground that day. He took us to a number of Fabulous places to admire great views of the area. He was happy to take pictures of us at special places which we appreciate. He was friendly informative it was a pleasure to spend the day with him.
A excellent experience. Driver was absolutely great. He was very knowledgeable and flexible. The towns visited were baroque jewels.
I booked this tour and I asked to my friend who lives in Taormina to come with me . The driver was totally ignored me whole the time and only chatting with my friend in Italian. I was totally invisible to him . I know he was a just driver but I really did not feel welcome by this driver just chatting with my friend in Italian . I was the one who is paying whole price and my friend supporsed to be my guide . At the end ,he even asked my friend if she enjoyed this tour but not to me . I appreciate him being flexible to change the route a bit . However not appropriate for treated me as invisible whole time . I am very generous tipper when it comes to tipping since I worked most of my life as customer service getting tip from my customer .so I understand how tip helps . Too bad I’ve did not get 25percent tip I prepared for him .

Anyway, the driver talked to your friend because She was Speaking italian, so easier for him to keep conversation, and he did not know Who booked and Who was invited as a friend; for the driver both of you were clients.

We spent the day with Martino of Taxi Catania. He met us promptly at the agreed upon location. He was very flexible allowing us to to totally change our itinerary to suit our needs. He was very friendly and anxious to make sure we enjoyed our day. We especially enjoyed walking , shopping and eating in Catania. I would recommend him without reservation
Our guide was a hour late because he went or was sent to the wrong port. Verified that I put the correct port on my reservation. We had a o completely miss one of the cities. While I was very happy with our time in Modica and Ragusa, would have like to make it to Sicili. Our driver spent a fair amount of time on the phone as well. The vehicle was nice and clean. Our driver was nice and courteous. When I reached out to the tour provider, the response was “well these things happen”. Not really the response I was expecting. I paid for a tour to 3 cities and got 2.
