Rafting en bambú y recorrido por el Boston Jerk Center en Portland, Jamaica

This was my birthday treat for me and my family (husband and children and grandchildren) on my birthday. Strolling along the Rio Grande on a raft was such an experience for both my family of 6 plus me, we all experienced together and throughly enjoyed the raft, we got to a point where we could get off the raft and swim, it was amazing, our captain Rohan, he is so experienced, he made the rowing look so simple, he gave us some history also of the Rio grande we strolled for over an hour in the hot sun, we just relaxed as we were cruising along. A must for one to experience not just to see on TV or photos. Our tour guide Omar, well, he picked us up from our hotel, (on time…) which we were not used too, we weren’t even ready, he calmly waited for us to finish our breakfast and be ready to board his comfortable air conditioning mini bus. On our way to the Rio grande he explained the area’s that we passed on our way, again very knowledgeable, from the raft he drove us into town to the bank ATM, patiently waited for us then off to the Blue lagoon river, beautiful blue sea, again the experience was amazing, then off to Boston, (famous for jerk chicken , jerk pork, jerk sausages, in Boston, Portland Jamaica) there we ate jerk chicken (wow) a lot for the 4/5 hours, What a start to my birthday…..

The tour guide and rafting captain were very good. Pick up was prompt and tour guide was engaging and knowledgeable of the area. Raft captain didn't rush and was willing to allow us to take things at our pace.

The Rio Grande tour was a beauty scenic tour. Omar was very good in letting us know the day before, what to take with us to the tour. The rafting captain Ivan, did an exceptional job taking us on the rafting and explaining about the area as well as giving us a good time to swim. I would highly recommend this tour company

Sunday morning will never be the same after spending the morning with Ivan as rafted along the Rio Granda . Loved the stories and his accommodating attitude. it is very refreshing finding someone who takes pride in their job and island! Big up Ivan aka captain cold beer. Thank you Omar

The tour was in 1 word stunning. The driver Omar, was a good driver. He explained a lot on the road about the surroundings, plants, food. We talked about the fruit mango and Omar remembered the conversasion, on the way back he stopped to help us buy one. Very attentive, kind, thoughtfull.

Captain Ivan was knowledgeable and skillful. Tour guide Omar very attentive to our needs and super friendly. Highly recommend this tour.
