Itinerario

This is a wonderful way to experience the bird life, alligators and forests from the hanging bridges. Bridges were very safe to walk on. Guide was very knowledgeable about the birds and finding the meeting point was easy. They had a large sign with names on it. We faced traffic delays due to the holiday, construction and a race going on but the guide still got us back in plenty of time to get back on the ship
Thank you for choosing Greenway Nature Tours! It's great to hear you enjoyed the wildlife, the landscapes, and the service from our guides. Pura vida, and see you next time!
Our guide was excellent. River boat for crocs and birds was well done. We saw 2 lizards, leaf cutter ants and a dart frog on our forest walk. No monkeys, sloths or other wildlife. A pleasant easy walk. Very stable bridges.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us feedback. We really appreciate it and hope to serve you again in the near future.
The Shore Excursion: Puntarenas Highlights 6 in 1 Combo Tour was an excellent choice. Driver, Fernando, and tour guide, Ronald did a wonderful job navigating through the day and keeping us safe. We were picked up at the Puntarenas cruise port, and joined a small group for the tour in an air conditioned van. The hike in the rainforest jungle across three suspension bridges was manageable. The terrain was uneven, with a combination of dirt paths, stepping stones and steps. The foliage was lush and beautiful, the weather, hot and humid, and the insects were kept away with repellant. The hike was slippery in places, so good traction shoes are a must, and a walking stick (provided) was helpful. Crossing the suspension bridges was thrilling, but be prepared for bouncing and swaying. The visit to the Crocodile Safari for a boat ride along the along the Tarcoles River was great. The driver, and tour guide were knowledgeable, and pointed out many American crocodiles, and a variety of birds native to the area. Each guest was given a pamphlet on local birds with photos and description for reference. There was a stop for shopping, snacks and refreshments and then we were returned to Puntarenas Cruise Port. It was a great day!

The guide was easy to find when getting off the ship. The bus was clean. The rain forest was fun but we only saw 1 toucan and 1 frog; no monkeys. The crocodile river boat was very interesting and we saw lots of crocs old and young. Our tour guide was great. Upon arrival back to the port they did not do a short sightseeing tour of Puntarenas city. Not quite sure why it is called ‘6 in1’. But we enjoyed it. Great for families.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Hope to serve you again in the near future
It was fun and a worthwhile trip …definitely at least moderate activity level … not a long distance walk but hilly terrain , combination of concrete steps, mud with some slippery areas. Hiking sticks were available and I am glad we had them.. definitely not for the walking impaired! Bridges were a little scary but beautiful scenery … crocodile safari was good with crocodiles found. Many birds but primarily birds you see in Florida … No colorful birds the day of our adventure. Ronald our guide was very patient and helpful to all varied participant ability levels. It was hot and humid even in the shade of the forest ….. thanks Ronald for being an informative and empathetic guide! Of course the driver was great as some areas were windy and narrow and we all were returned back to the ship on time and in one piece!

Ronaldo was a great guide as was the driver. We learned about the area and Costa Rica in general. Spoke clear English. Went out of his way to show us Macaws mating and monkeys--not on the scheduled stop.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us feedback. We really appreciate it and hope to serve you again in the near future.
Very nice tour with mini group (4 people), Pick-up in the port and organization all in the best. Always a lot of time, no hassle. Tour took significantly longer than planned.
We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed your experience. Hope to serve you again in the near future.
This trip covers a large amount of time, but a lot of that is not productive. Some of the people in our van were getting dropped off for a different tour, which took more time. The drive to the activity is pretty long and traffic is evident. We were disappointed with the jungle walk because it was really short, and there were no critters to observe. The crocodile boat ride was the best part of the day. Our guide was very knowledgeable and good about pointing out all the birds, and we saw several crocodiles. Notice the wild bananas with a beautiful flower on the shoreline. The fruit tasting was welcome, but nothing special. The whole long drive back to Port was pretty quiet. I appreciate that guide was very in tune with making sure we got back to the ship on time. Overall, we were disappointed in this trip based on enjoyment compared to cost and time invested.
We always try to do our job in the best way, and we are sorry that you had this inconvenience today. We will try the best way to improve so that a situation of this type does not happen again.
Unfortunately, the most memorable part of the trip was the walk thru the jungle and suspension bridges, that were advertised as moderate walk. Not at all moderate as up and down on trails that are stair steps with concretes cement blocks of various heights, not level, or crumbling. The majority of the time there was only rope to hang onto. Very unstable. Had to concentrate so much on not falling, we didn’t get to enjoy the scenery.
Thank you very much for your review of our tour. The conditions of the terrain are listed in the tour description as follow: "This tour require good physical conditions. It is not recommended for senior with low or limited mobility. Trail distance is 1 mile under some difficult tropical conditions. If you are not able to walk under these conditions, we recommend to take the Rainforest Wagon Tour. It is an easy way to visit the rainforest." It is always goor to read carefully all the information listed in the tour description in order to avoid any inconvenience.
