Review: A Terrible Experience – Avoid This Excursion - Disappointing after doing so much research, does not match the description or reviews at all. Our horse riding excursion was a complete disaster, and we ended up cutting it short and demanding a van pickup halfway through. It was supposed to be a scenic ride to the beach and an underground water cave, but it turned into a stressful, commercialized nightmare. The Main Issues: Safety & Scenery: Instead of a peaceful trail, we rode along a dirty road, constantly passed by hundreds of noisy dune buggies and ATVs. At one point, we even had to cross a major highway. Aggressive Upselling: From the very beginning, we were heavily pressured to buy overpriced products (marked up 4–5 times their value) and expensive photo packages. We ended up pressured into spending $200 on merchandise and $50 in tips. Poor Horse Welfare & Equipment: The horses appeared malnourished, and the riding tack/equipment was in poor condition. Unprofessional Staff: While we were at the beach (which was swarming with aggressive peddlers), the guides actually rented our horses out to two buggy riders. When we asked to leave early, we had to wait 10 minutes for them to return. The guide lied and claimed the horses went to get water, he only took the 3 horses they were riding and left the other 4 at the beach. Transport Disorganization: After we demanded a van rescue, the driver did not take us straight back to the hotel. Instead, he drove us 25 minutes cross-country to the cave excursion starting point. I had to firmly insist that they return us to our hotel. The Verdict: This was so chaotic that we immediately canceled our dune buggy excursion scheduled for the next day. Save your money and look elsewhere. It is a shame because these seem like very nice people with truly good intentions, it just doesn’t come together well at all.

The horseback ride in Punta Cana was incredible. Beautiful scenery, well-trained horses, and a safe, well-organized tour from start to finish. Our guide, Claudy, was outstanding, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. 10/10 would highly recommend!
It was a very great experience, I had a great time. the staff is very experienced the speak multi-languages. the fee is great for the experience that you are getting. 2:30 was all I needed to complete my trip. the beach was nice, clear water and the cave was also nice to visit. Crowd was manageable. This is good for every body, if you’re into horseback riding, go for it.
