Gabry is charming. He adapted at all times to our interests and needs, guiding us and explaining every corner we saw, always with a smile and making sure we felt comfortable throughout the entire tour. We took a tour of Matera, Alberobello, and Polignano a Mare (you can choose the places that interest you most or let him advise you). Three wonderful places that we would not have been able to see or enjoy in the same way if it hadn't been for Gabry's coordination and attention. Although the tour is advertised in English and Italian, Gabry also understands and communicates perfectly in Spanish (the language used in our case). As a driver, very cautious and impeccable. Very comfortable and clean vehicle, with Coldplay music in the background (he also asked us if the type of music was to our liking). A 10, definitely. Highly, highly recommended!!!

We had a wonderful day exploring Ostuni and Alberobello with Gabry. From the beginning, Gabry tailored the tour to our interests, creating a truly personalised experience that went far beyond the typical tourist itinerary. One of the highlights was enjoying an authentic seafood lunch at a seaside restaurant frequented mostly by locals—something we would never have discovered on our own. Gabry also gave us a rare opportunity to visit a friend’s Trullo home that has been preserved in its original state. It was fascinating to see such an authentic piece of Puglian history and provided a unique insight into traditional life in the region. Gabry’s warm personality, local connections, and genuine love for Puglia made this one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. We highly recommend him to anyone wanting to discover the real Puglia through the eyes of a passionate local guide.

I picked this tour because I wanted to customize our tour in Puglia and have enough time to enjoy and spend time with the chosen towns we wanted to see. This tour was advertised on the Viator website with a duration time of 10-12 hours and that we will be picked up in a hotel/town of our own choice. Overall, our tour and our tour guide Gabry was excellent. I would have given this tour a 5 star but was somewhat disappointed that it felt that the tour was somewhat rushed and limited. I have privately messaged Gabry weeks before the start of tour and asked him what time of the day do we start the tour and also specify what towns we were interested to see and what things we would like to do. His response was that he usually starts at 9:30 AM and ends at 5:30 PM. So technically that is only 8 hours and not 10 or 12 hours as advertised on the Viator website. The itinerary outlined on Viator was also not followed which was understandable given that I requested for (3) specific towns. But even that it felt that we rushed through the towns showing us the picturesque spots in town and took pictures. We were thankful that he was not only our guide but our photographer as well . Gabry was very knowledgeable and professional. He spoke English fluently enough for us to understand what he was talking about. We wished we had communicated better with him that other than the 3 towns that we were interested in that we were open to seeing a other places in the vicinity like a Masseria or the coastal town of Polignano a Mare. For travelers looking to book this tour make sure that you know that what was advertised (description of itinerary and duration) of this tour on the website is not the actual one you will be getting. I advised that you clarify the terms before you book this tour.

Fantastic day touring Matera and Altamura. Gabri was very knowledgeable and informative and has a true passion for his work. His Tesla was comfortable for the four of us. Only regret is that we didn’t have enough time to see more of Puglia. But we’d need days if not weeks.

Words cannot describe the most beautiful landscape of the entire Puglia region! Every city we visited held its own special unique history and architectural scenery. We had such a wonderful experience with our personal tour guide Annamaria !! She was so knowledgeable about her homeland and eagerly shared so much information about the area including the heritage, cultures, favorite food,drinks etc! We would recommend her 💯 for a delightful visit there. She is such a warm loving energetic person who made u feel like family. We covered a lot in our 3 days with her and yet we never felt overwhelmed. We also spent a day in Lecce with Danielle as our guide, which was a very pleasurable experience also. All the local delicacies that we tried were delicious and the beauty of this region of Italy is unsurpassed. We definitely want to come back and explore this area again with Annamaria as our guide. We have been all over Italy in our travels and we have to say this was the most enjoyable beautiful area we have been to. We are taking a piece of Puglia home with us in our pictures and wonderful memories made there.

Had a fantastic excursion with Gabry last sunday with my family. Gabry took excellent care of us, driving us in a safe and comfortable manner to the main sites in Alberobello, Locorotondo and Monopoli. He also gave us tips for other things to do in the area and even drove us to the marina to inquire about boat tours. The car is a spacious and comfortable brand new Tesla Model Y. I highly recommend Gabry.

Finding Gabriel as a guide in Puglia was a true stroke of luck. From the first contact, he demonstrated to be a highly experienced professional, always kind, courteous, and willing to adapt the itinerary according to our interests, without losing sight of what can truly be enjoyed in a day. Although he is not an official guide in Spanish —something he made sure to clarify from the beginning— he is perfectly understandable, and communication is very smooth. Additionally, he has a significant advantage: he is authorized to drive into Matera, which saves a lot of time and avoids the effort of walking to the historic center. Before hiring him, I searched for opinions and references all over the web, and I was struck by not finding a single negative comment. After experiencing the tour with him, I perfectly understood why. Another very practical point is that he allows reservations by paying only a percentage and paying the rest in person on the day of the excursion. Without a doubt, it is a highly recommended option to explore Puglia and Matera in a comfortable, organized, and personalized way.

Excellent trip with Gabriel. We were able to customize to the locations we wanted to visit. Matera and Monopoli were stunning and Gabriel provided very good info. He was also kind enough to pick us up in Polignano and dropped us at our final destination in Trulli area.

Gabriel (Gabry) was and excellent tour guide a driver. He customized the trip to include everything we wanted to see. He is a native Apulian and has extensive knowledge of the entire area and its history. So much better than big tours because we got to spend how much time we wanted in each place.

Gabry was a very kind and knowledgeable guide, flexible to what we wanted. He knows the sites very well to make the best use of time. He has great love for the natural and cultural richness of the area. The ride was comfortable and he was a good driver. He stopped at good viewpoints so we could take photos. Although his English isn't perfect, he was able to communicate fairly well.
