Si alguna vez has querido hacer tu propio chocolate o aprender todas las maravillosas complejidades y procesos involucrados en la preparación de la golosina favorita del mundo, ¡esta es la clase para ti! En 2 horas viajarás en el tiempo : desde la historia del árbol, hasta los mitos, pasando por la parte muy real e importante que el cacao y el chocolate jugaron en las culturas de Mesoamérica. Y, por supuesto, también harás chocolate. Desde probar la fruta cruda (cuando esté disponible), hasta asar, moler y separar la cáscara de las puntas, trabajarás como un profesional que hace chocolate galardonado. Aprenderás algunos de los increíbles usos medicinales del chocolate antes de hacer tu propia “medicina” de chocolate para llevar a casa. Finalmente, templarás el chocolate fundido recién vertido y harás tu propia barra para envolverla y disfrutarla más tarde. Hay tours de chocolate por todo el mundo, pero esta es una verdadera experiencia práctica: ¡tendrá chocolate encima! ¡Una clase divertida y deliciosa!

Owner/teacher has incredible knowledge of the cacao history in Puerto Viejo. The class was hands on bringing us through the cacao pod process to making our own chocolate bars. I highly recommend this class! Such fun!

We had a great experience! It started a little slow as she had locked keys inside, and we had to wait for someone to bring keys, but we learned a lot and had a good time. Ansel (sp?) is very knowledgable! And we got to make our own chocolate! Thank you, Ansel!
