Las vistas son increíbles y los grandes recuerdos garantizados! Esta excursión solo está disponible con salidas desde la zona sur de Mallorca, desde el Puerto de Andratx hasta Arenal (El Dorado).

Nuestro Tour comienza en el Camí de la Escollera frente a la Catedral de Palma alrededor de las 09:15 hrs. Palma fue fundada como campamento romano sobre los restos de un asentamiento talayótico. La ciudad fue sometida a varias incursiones vándalas durante la caída del Imperio Romano de Occidente, luego reconquistada por el Imperio Bizantino, luego colonizada por los Moros (quienes la llamaron Medina Mayurqa) y, en el siglo XIII, por Jaime I de Aragón.
Soller es un bonito pueblo situado a tres kilómetros del Puerto en la costa noreste de Mallorca y es conocido como el centro comercial y cultural de la Serra de Tramontana. Surge de un valle rodeado de montañas llamado 'el valle de Los Naranjos' (el valle de los naranjos) y la hermosa plaza central, que es el principal punto de encuentro del pueblo, está rodeada de muchas calles pequeñas y empedradas. A nuestra llegada a Sóller, el centro comercial y cultural de la Sierra, nos recibe la plaza principal de Sóller, perfecta para sentarnos en una terraza y observar la iglesia de San Bartolomé y el edificio del Banco de Sóller.
El Puerto de Sóller es un hermoso puerto natural ubicado en el noroeste de la isla y un importante centro de interés turístico. Un pequeño tesoro codiciado en la antigüedad por los corsarios que nos ofrece un paisaje irrepetible en el que el olor a azahar se mezcla con el aroma del mar. El puerto y el pueblo de Sóller están conectados por un antiguo tranvía de madera que conserva toda su estética y decoración original y que podemos admirar mientras paseamos por el animado paseo marítimo del puerto.
El 4 de octubre de 1913 se inauguró la primera línea de tranvía eléctrico de Mallorca, que discurría entre Sóller y Puerto de Sóller. La construcción del tranvía de Sóller se inició tras la inauguración de la línea ferroviaria Palma-Sóller. El proyecto de esta línea fue diseñado y dirigido por Pedro Garau, y se colocaron 4.868 metros de vía. Destaca el puente de hierro sobre el Torrent Major. En un principio, el tranvía contaba con una central eléctrica ubicada en la estación de Sóller que funcionaba con un motor de explosión de 65 caballos de fuerza que funcionaba con una dinamo Siemens-Schuckert, proporcionando una corriente continua de 600 voltios. Aunque el tranvía de Sóller fue diseñado para transportar pasajeros, también se utilizó para transportar mercancías hasta el puerto.

Carmen was fabulous! She called the day before to confirm our meeting point. During the tour she spoke to us in 4 languages to ensure all guests received the information about the tram, train and surrounding logistics. She kept track of all passengers on a variety of tour packages.

Excellent trip only negative didn't get any tme in Pt Soller only 20 minutes pretty rushed and not enough time in Soller, was booked for a 09.30 hotel received message changing to another pick up point 10 minutes away at 08.30 spent 4 hours on the coach doing other passengers pickup, enjoyed the tour and experience Sophie and driver very good, no time for toilet breaks,returned after experience to join the coach and toilet was closed, but on a positive note well worth the experience.

We traveled as a family with an elderly person with reduced mobility. Nothing indicated that there was no access for people with reduced mobility. I strongly advise against it for strollers and it is impossible for wheelchairs. Upon your arrival, welcome to the hanger games. Getting down to Puerto Soller is complicated, but getting back up ... An hour wait on the road, trams are reserved for groups and they pass in front of you, no line to shelter people with reduced mobility from the crowd. You have a ticket, but those who do not have one can also board and pay inside (10€ one way per person). No sign in the tramway regarding the maximum number of people or kg allowed. In short, you are crammed in like cattle for a 30-minute ride. At this rate (or even less), taxis are available.

Il est vrai qu'en pleine haute saison, Majorque, Sóller et les tramways sont très fréquentés en raison de leur immense beauté. Nice train ride, the train is "vintage" , we took the train+tram ticket to Soller , the tram is also "vintage" , it is not fast, we take the remps to see the landscapes that we do not necessarily see from the road, ... A good time.

So much travel time and very little time in Soller - given 30 minutes and 10 minutes was spent getting out of the station. Very rude guide ViVi would absolutely not recommend her

So booked with Jet2 Rep at the hotel...... Firstly the views were AMAZING however, the trip itself felt disjointed, unorganized and rushed. The trip cost was €62 per person, the coach was 30 minutes late In pick up and this was taken away from the time we were able to spend in the two village stops, 10 minutes allocation for the 1st village and 30 minutes for the second village. The rep was at times rude and abrupt. The tram and train were a nice experience for sightseeing however again not enough time allocated to explore the towns. NOT WORTH €62.

It was a wonderful tour!! Good thing I asked the tour operator for details where, when and time for pick up. Otherwise we would have missed the trip. That would be a recommendation.
