Situado en las afueras de El Cairo, las pirámides de Guiza toman tiempo. Recogida en el lugar solicitado por el egiptólogo para comenzar su viaje por El Cairo en dirección a las Grandes Pirámides de Giza, donde disfrutará de la pirámide del rey Keops, Chephren y Mykerinos. Luego, el recorrido continuará visitando el Templo del Valle de Khafre, donde se encuentra la recepción del cuerpo real de Khafre. El Templo del Valle fue construido para el proceso de momificación del rey Kefrén. Finalmente, podrás ver de cerca la Gran Esfinge, la guardiana de las Pirámides con cuerpo de león y cabeza del rey Kefrén. (tenga en cuenta que ingresar a las pirámides desde el interior requiere un boleto especial; el guía estará encantado de ayudarle).
¡La pirámide de Keops es la única maravilla de las siete maravillas antiguas que aún permanece en pie hoy! El edificio más alto del mundo desde hace más de 3800 años, el complejo consta de un templo en el valle, ahora enterrado bajo el pueblo de Nazlet el-Samman; Se han encontrado pavimentos de diabasa y paredes de piedra caliza numulítica, pero el sitio aún no ha sido excavado. La segunda pirámide más alta del complejo está dedicada al rey Chefren o Khafre, todo el complejo aún está en buenas condiciones, por lo que con su egiptólogo explorará el templo del valle y la calzada del rey Khafre. La pirámide más pequeña de la meseta de Giza, ahora tiene unos 61 m de altura, la pirámide de Menkaure es muy especial debido a que la capa exterior de granito aún permanece en la parte inferior de la pirámide, ¡el granito fue extraído de Asuán a más de 1000 kilómetros de Giza!
A continuación, una visita a una vista panorámica de las 6 pirámides y la ciudad de Giza, donde permanecerá allí durante 30 minutos para tomar fotografías y disfrutar de la vista. El panorama es un lugar increíble para disfrutar del paseo en camello.
Con el mismo boleto de entrada al área de las pirámides podrás ver de cerca la Gran Esfinge, la guardiana de las pirámides con cuerpo de león y cabeza del rey Kefrén. Aya was the most amazing guide, very knowledgeable, will be booking and looking for Aya next time we are in Egypt. Aya made us feel safe and provided many tips for travelling through Egypt. Experience was absolutely amazing! From pick up and transport to the Pyramids. Aya communicated very well leading up to the excursion, and is a very knowledgeable Egyptologist! We attended the Pyramids, the Sphinx, attended some shops (without pressure to purchase) and had an enjoyable traditional lunch! Can't say enough about Aya and our driver. Manal was an amazing guide. She was very knowledgeable and gave excellent advice - especially about going into the pyramids. She was also very patient and gave us plenty of time to take pictures. And Ismail was a wonderful driver. Picked us from the hotel and along the way. Perfect. Both were absolutely superb.
Manal was a knowledgeable and patient guide. She offered to take photos and went at our pace. Everything about the trip was great including the local food at the end. Ismail kept his cool driving through the Cairo traffic and got us to our destinations safely.
Ismail and Manal were great! Very informative and polite guide. The driver was great getting us around the area. They answered all of our questions, remembered our names and were very understanding of what we did and didn’t want to do. Was incredible to see the pyramids, go inside and see the sphinx. Got an amazing tour of the pyramids and sphinx with Manal and Ismail! We were picked up from our hotel in an air-conditioned car and driven to the pyramids at 8am, where we were given a very informative and interesting tour. A great experience followed by some traditional Egyptian food to end.
