Visite tres pueblos para ver sus actividades locales y estilos de vida: La Noria, La Vinata y El Quelite. Aprenda sobre el antiguo y actual proceso de tequila en La Vinata, donde podrá contemplar el equipo que se utilizó en 1800 para producir tequila. Podrá ver los equipos utilizados actualmente y aprender sobre las actividades locales en estas ciudades a su propio ritmo. Después de recogerlo en su hotel / crucero, se dirigirá al norte de Mazatlán para visitar el pueblo La Noria, donde verá las actividades locales que se realizan a la antigua usanza, cinturones de cuero y sandalias de cuero hechas a mano, pequeños bolsos de coco y una variedad de recuerdos, todos hechos mientras observas, monturas de caballos de madera talladas a mano y un artista local trabajando en la cerámica. No muy lejos de este pueblo se encuentra La Vinata, donde conducirá a través de acres y acres de la plantación de agave azul para llegar a la destilería de tequila, donde se le informará sobre el antiguo y actual proceso de producción de tequila. Esta fábrica de tequila es única porque mantiene su antiguo equipo que se usó en el siglo XIX para que usted sea testigo de ambos procesos y luego muestree su producto. Desde aquí, se dirige al encantador pueblo de El Quelite, uno de los pueblos más pintorescos de la zona, con casas coloridas, calles adoquinadas, techos rojos y un ambiente relajante. Esta ciudad es conocida por su granja de gallos donde puedes ver los gallos de primera mano, con una parada en la panadería local con un horno de adobe que ofrece pasteles recién horneados. Luego es hora de regresar al centro de la aldea El Quelite, donde puede disfrutar de un delicioso almuerzo local, luego pasear un poco por la plaza y la iglesia antes de regresar a Mazatlán. f you’re visiting Mazatlán, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Elias. (you can find them in Facebook under Jesus Aguilar Betancourt) He made our day truly exceptional. He drove us around the city, shared fascinating insights about Mazatlán’s history and culture, and showed us both the highlights and hidden gems. Elias was incredibly accommodating—he stopped whenever we wanted to take photos, answered all our questions, and made sure we were comfortable at every moment. He is knowledgeable, personable, and truly passionate about his city. A tour guide par excellence. Highly recommended!
My wife and I very much enjoyed this tour. We were picked up right on time from our hotel and driven in a very comfortable, airconditioned van by our tour guide Juan Carlos, I hope I got his name right. He was excellent. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to talk to. I particularly enjoy learning from him about the local history of the places we visited and the many different types of agave plants used to make tequila and mezcal. The visit to the tequila distillery was very informative and the tequila was excellent as well - the añejo was my favorite. I liked it so much that I even picked up a bottle. The highlight of the trip for us, however, was the visit to El Quelite, one of Mexico's “Pueblos Mágicos” or Magical Towns. There are over a hundred small towns or pueblos in Mexico that have earned this title which is bestowed upon them by the Mexican government because of their historical significance and/or cultural richness. It's an attempt to preserve the cultural richness of these small towns. I applaud the Mexican government for doing this, and it is easy to see why El Quelite is included among these magical places. If you visit, don't miss the opportunity to dine at the restaurant El Meson De Los Laureanos. The food is truly wonderful and a part of the cultural richness of the town. Overall, this was one of the most enjoyable tours we did while in Mexico.
My husband and I had a great time on the tequila tour! Suzanna our tour guide and Victor our driver did a fantastic job. She was so fun and funny. My new best friend! And Victor kept us hydrated with beer, water or soda. It was very informative and fun. A must for tequila drinkers. My favorite was the vanilla😋 Oh and the lunch was fantastic!
Jesus Jr and Senior were great. Together they share the history of Mazatlan. We loved the food in El Quelite and can't say enough about the staff. Thank You, Denise
Our driver, Carlos was so knowledgeable and interesting as he told us about the locatonos we visited. Van was very comfortable and with the use of their mic's it was easy to hear. We would have liked to spend a little more time in the village and see some additional shops but the leather articians were great. The Tequila factory was great. Maybe the best thing was the resturant that Carlos recommended truly a true Mexican meal in an amazing location. Would recommend this to anyone.
Father and son, guide and driver team of Jesus Senior and Jesus Junior did a fantastic job. Especially after the glitch that the original tour guide thought that May 28, 2023 was Monday and not Sunday. When he didn't show up after a 30 minute delay, I had to call the tour operator to find out what happened and that's when they realized the tour guide had the wrong day of the week and booked himself for another tour. The tour operator did find us Jesus Sr. and Jr., but by this time, we lost 1.5 hours of the morning and by the time we arrived at the tequila factory, Jesus Sr. actually had to take us on the tour himself. The same at Puenta de Canoas, where the dancing horses are. Jesus Sr. was able to ask them to put on a show for our group, which they did.
Raul was a very well spoke. And entertaining Guide. We had a great time driving through little country town seeing dancing horses and have lunch in El Quilete.
Friends experienced a fantastic tour on our stop at Mazatlan. Tour guide Ivan was fantastic on our visit to little rural communities, a wonderful and tasty distillery, and then to a delightful lunch (molcajete). We then returned to Mazatlan to see a bit of the old town. All of us truly enjoyed the experience of getting out and seeing the countryside.
5 of us took this private van tour on 9/27. Really looking forward to going to El Quelite so we could eat at the amazing restaurant they have in El Quelite. That's the main reason we even booked this tour. Once we got in the van, the driver told us we would not be going to El Quelite because the bridge on the road to El Quelite was out, had been out for quite a while and they didn't know when the bridge would be fixed. He said the only other way to get there was rough dirt roads way out of the way. We did the other two villages, the tequila tour then back to Mazatlan for lunch. Before you book this tour make sure the bridge to El Quelite is fixed.
We had a great tour with Jose! He was very personable and shared a lot of interesting information about the region. We loved the town of El Quelite and the lunch was amazing! I went with my family including a toddler and everyone enjoyed the trip. Would highly recommend.
