Construido en el siglo XIII, el castillo de Doune era una fortaleza medieval y se ha utilizado en innumerables escenarios de películas, desde la exitosa serie de televisión 'Outlander', 'Juego de Tronos' hasta 'El Santo Grial de Monty Python'.
Haremos una breve parada aquí para alimentar personalmente a Hamish, Dubh y Honey. 3 'Highland Coos' adultos.
En dirección a los Trossachs, se tarda aproximadamente una hora en coche hasta el imponente mirador del lago Tulla para hacer una breve parada para tomar fotografías.
Un viaje de 30 minutos a lo largo de la cordillera de Glencoe, con múltiples paradas para tomar fotografías, incluida la 'Casa solitaria', cascadas y el lugar más fotografiado de Escocia, las '3 hermanas'.
Construido en 1320 por el clan MacDougal, fue visitado por el rey James IV, pariente del clan Stewart que lo poseía en ese momento. Castle Stalker ha sido el lugar de rodaje de algunas películas, en particular, 'Highlander' y 'Monty Pythons Holy Grail'.
Una posible parada para almorzar es Creagan Inn, un restaurante familiar que sirve una variedad de comidas de temática escocesa con un bar bien abastecido con más de 120 whiskys de malta.
Votado por arquitectos en 2016 como uno de los 10 mejores edificios construidos en los últimos 100 años, la construcción comenzó en 1881 por Sir Walter Campbell, para proporcionar una iglesia local para su madre. Construido utilizando todos los estilos de arquitectura, desde normando, gótico, celta y sajón, es un edificio impresionante y similar a una escena de 'Juego de Tronos'.
Construido en el siglo XV por la rama feroz y más temida de los Campbell de Glen Orchy. Rodeada de agua por tres lados, era en su época una fortaleza formidable.

It was an excellent combination tour of the Highlands, Kirk and castles. Our guide, Alvin, was knowledgeable, courteous, and very patient. Alvin considered the interest and needs of our ages (55, 56, 81, and 88).

We so appreciate the long day-tour we did with Ryan. He communicated with us days in advance to arrange pick up and was a wonderful companion all day. Because it was just me, my wife, and daughter, he not only catered the trip specifically to our tastes, but added more than 90 minutes of stops and dropped us off at our new Glasgow hotel (after picking us up in Stirling). Ryan was funny, friendly, and clearly proud of his home country. It was a real highlight of our two-week stay in France and the UK.

We had an amazing day trip to the Highlands. Our guide Shak was super accommodating in picking us up early to try to fit in as much possible before the weather turned. We loved getting to see the beauty of the highlands with some great chat from Shak. Perfect way to spend the day and get a taste of the highlands. Definitely recommend.

This tour was amazing! I was looking for castles, mountains, and anything Scottish Highlands. Well that is exactly what we got, Martin was a great guide taking us to places with the most amazing views and his knowledge of the area and history was superb!! The chatting in the van was hilarious and we rode with very few quiet moments with everyone conversing with Martin to see what other nuggets of info we could learn. We were able to get out and stretch our legs take fantastic pictures and even feed the highland cattle!! Martin even suggested some places to see on the next leg of our trip.
