Visitarás la fábrica de tequila Selecto, una de las pocas fábricas de tequila artesanal e industrial que quedan, con un recorrido guiado y degustación de tequila, licores y cremas que se elaboran dentro de las destilerías. También podrás visitar los campos de agave y disfrutar de un gran momento.
Embárcate en una fascinante visita guiada a la destilería La Fortaleza, donde conocerás el proceso completo de producción del tequila. Durante el recorrido, verás los hornos de ladrillo donde se cocina el agave, los molinos donde se trituran las piñas y las tinas de fermentación donde el jugo se convierte en mosto. My tour guide Eduardo was wonderful. So friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great drive to the town of Tequila and an amazing tour of the La Fortaleza distillery. It’s awesome. And so small Then we wandered around town and visited a few bars. Tried a Batanga. Then went to a Cantarita bar in the middle of an agave field I can honestly recommend this wonderful tour And a huge Gracias to Eduardo. He was terrific ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had such an incredible time on this tequila distillery tour! From start to finish, everything was well organized, fun, and super informative. The distillery itself was beautiful, and getting to see the entire process—from agave to glass—made us appreciate tequila on a whole new level. What really made the experience stand out was our guide. They were not only extremely knowledgeable, but also warm, engaging, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made the tour feel personal, answered all our questions, and kept the energy fun the entire time. We also really appreciated how flexible and accommodating they were, making sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and got the most out of the experience. The tastings were a highlight—delicious, well-paced, and paired with great explanations that helped us understand the flavors. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a mix of culture, fun, and an unforgettable experience. We would absolutely do it again!

This tour is an enjoyable mix of history and process. It is not a get drunk and be obnoxious tour. If you want to really learn about how an excellent tequila is made, then I highly recommend this tour. I had just finished reading the book Tequila Wars, so it was very interesting to visit a true Sauza distillery and to see the town of Tequila. It was so impressive to watch tequila being made in a traditional manner. We also stopped in at Tres Mujeres distillery which was enjoyable as well. Definitely eat a hearty breakfast in the morning before the tour so you are ready to savour the tequila. Eduardo, our guide, was excellent, knowledgeable and a great driver.
Amazing experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. The establishment is beautiful and it was an experience we will never forget. I enjoyed tequila tasting inside the cave and seeing the authentic process of making tequila. Definitely a place you must visit if you are in the area.

Our driver/guide, Jesus, picked us up at our hotel for a fun day exploring the area where tequila is produced. Car was immaculate and comfortable and Jesus explained things of interest as he expertly dealt with Guadalajara traffic. The highlight of the trip was a visit to the La Fortaleza Distillery. Amazing!! One member of our party has some mobility issues. While these tours are not designed for these types of challenges—Jesus made sure that everyone could enjoy the day. The visit to Tequila town was complete with cazuelitas, street performers, strolling the shops and seeing the church The day was at our pace and based on our interests!! Highly Recommended!!!
