Itinerario

I struggle with what to rate this tour. It all worked out in the end, but I don't think it was a 5 star experience. My main complaint was the lack of communication by the guides. We got on the boat and they introduced themselves and then basically took off without giving us an overview of the experience and what to expect for the next 3 hours, both logistically and with the sea conditions. We got to Our Lady of the Rocks after about 10 minutes and they put on a pre-recorded explanation. We opted to not go onto the island because it was so crowded. From there the guides took off with no further communication. For the next 30-45 minutes, we were on the boat in very rough waters. Obviously they could not control the seas, but it would have been nice to be given a heads up about the rough ride ahead, where we were going next, and how long to expect the ride to be. Additionally, they were blasting very loud rap music, which is not our style. We had to ask twice for it to be turned down before they did so. The first time they turned it down a couple of clicks, but it was still very loud in the front where we were sitting. They did not confirm it was better. It was only on the ride back that they turned it down in a meaningful way, and asked us if it was better. We arrived at the blue cave and it was extremely crowded and borderline unsafe to get out with all the people, other boats, and intense waves (not the fault of anyone on this tour). We ended up asking the guides if we could go somewhere different. One was reluctant, but the other one said yes and we went to a much better location to swim. We were very grateful for them doing this. If we had not pivoted, I think we would have regretted booking this experience altogether. The second spot was much calmer and had a cave we could explore and rocks we could jump off. The trip back was still rough but a little more enjoyable since we understood what was ahead of us and the guides seemed more engaged with us than they did on the way there. Visiting the submarine tunnels was also very interesting on the way back. All in all, no regrets, but I think for this to be a 5 star experience, the guides should have more communication during the tour about what to expect for the experience and be accommodating when passengers have requests. It would have been nice if the guides had addressed the rough seas at the outset and offered an alternative. If we had been given the heads up about the rough seas, we would have 100% opted to go somewhere else that was a shorter journey where we could swim. As it was, we didn't even get to see the blue cave and we spent basically 2 hours riding uncomfortably just to do so. Offering alternatives when this is the case would be appreciated. I also think it would be a nice touch to ask passengers if they have a musical preference since they are paying for the experience. Overall, our guides were friendly when addressed, but mainly just seemed like they were getting paid to get us from point A to point B instead of ensuring we had a 5 star experience. To future passengers, I would recommend speaking up if you have questions or concerns instead of expecting that the crew will proactively address these.
Recommended experience, the best price found for a private speedboat tour. The only hitch, the boat arrived 15 minutes late.
My daughter and I had a really amazing time on our 3 hour private boat tour. We got some history, saw some sites, as well as scenery and swimming. Highly recommend!! Bonus: That playlist was the bomb!!
Amazing experience in Kotor! We had a fantastic time on the speedboat tour. Everything was well organized, the scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. A special thanks to Selma, who was incredibly kind, friendly and attentive. She made us feel very welcome and made the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Montenegro. Highly recommended! 5 stars!
The private boat ride was perfect they were kind and helpful and totally worth the price! Highly recommend….
Really great private tour, Balsa was very informative!!! Thank you for a great day!! Highly recommend!!
The tour itself was great, and I really appreciated that they let you customize the itinerary based on your needs. In our case, we were traveling with a 4-year-old, so the Blue Grotto was not really an option since you can only access it by swimming in. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that the boat ride is very, very rough. The boat goes quite fast, so if you have back problems or are prone to seasickness, this is definitely something to keep in mind. There was nothing wrong with the boat or the tour itself, it is simply a matter of personal preference and comfort. Our captain was very nice, the boat was clean, and overall we had a great experience. I would absolutely do it again, now knowing what to expect from the ride.
Everything was perfect!!! Tour guide was very nice, boat clean and the most important part he gave us choices!!!
We got off our ship wanting to rent a private boat to take our family around. We saw Selma and she immediately made us feel comfortable. She listened to what we wanted and hired two skippers to take us around. bajon and adi were very friendly. They took us to see the sights and to a beautiful restaurant on the sea. My family was very happy with the experience.
Good prompt pick up. Good boat captain. Nice swim at the Blue Cave. Good value and a nice boat. Would recommend
