10 minutos para llegar al minarete de la Torre Hassan, adyacente a las ruinas de una mezquita inacabada. La construcción de la mezquita y el mineral comenzó en el siglo XII durante el reinado del gobernante almohade Yacoub al-Mansour. La torre mide 44 metros (140 pies) de altura y presenta intrincados detalles decorativos, como caligrafía y patrones geométricos.
Después de 1 hora de viaje hasta el Gran mausoleo islámico en Rabat, fue construido entre 1961 y 1971, tras la muerte del rey Mohammed V en 1961. El mausoleo fue diseñado por el arquitecto vietnamita Nguyen Viet Thu y la construcción fue realizada por artesanos marroquíes. y artesanos. Presenta una impresionante arquitectura islámica y complejos trabajos en mármol. Las tumbas están hechas de ónix blanco y situadas debajo de una gran cúpula.

En 10 minutos de viaje llegamos a un sitio histórico conocido por sus hermosos jardines, ruinas antiguas y una famosa puerta llamada "Chellah" que data de la dinastía almohade.

Driver(Humza) was on time for pick up. He dropped us OFF and came to pick us up in a few mins after we finished our guided tours. I forgot my hat in the van after the last drop OFF. Hamza came back to drop OFF the hat. Very kind of him. Hamza made sure that we were drinking enough water in between our tours. Our guide Mustafa was very knowledgeable. We learned a lot of history and culture about the places we visited. Also he suggested good places to eat.

Rabat is a lovely city. Some aspects of tour disappointing. Some aspects not well planned. Place we were taken for lunch so disappointing we all walked out without eating.

We had a wonderful day trip to Rabat on 5 March 2026 with guide Hamed and driver Naciri.
