Our chef greeted us in the kitchen in an impeccable way, full of many details and a lot of patience for two beginners of the cuisine! Step by step we prepared a typical Moroccan dish pastila, which was really delicious!! Thanks for making us feel so special in Morocco! A super original experience
I took this private Moroccan cooking class in Ouarzazate this April with Wafa, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. I first joined her couscous class, which was delightful that I came back for a second session to learn how to make bastilla. The classes were hands-on, and Wafa guided me through each step patiently. The classes took place in her home kitchen, which makes the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. She is friendly and clearly passionate about sharing her Mother's Moroccan home cooking. Before we started, she served tea and local snacks, which was such a nice touch. The portions were very generous (you will definitely leave full!). I also really appreciated that this is a woman-owned business—you can tell how much care and effort Wafa puts into sharing her culture. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and at ease the entire time. This would also be a great experience for couples or families looking for something meaningful and local. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn authentic Moroccan cooking in a real home environment while also supporting a wonderful local business.
Everyone was friendly and helpful, making it a truly enjoyable and memorable day.
fantastic day The chef was attentive and thoroughly explained everything we wanted to know. The three hours flew by as we enjoyed making couscous with vegetables and chicken, and she send us a written copy of the notes to recreate the couscous at home.
My first cooking class was fantastic! Wafaa was an excellent cook who shared her traditions and culture with us. I highly recommend this experience to my friends; tasting the dishes we prepared was the highlight of the day.
Very good experience at Wafa, who was patient with our child. We enjoyed making couscous as much as we did eating it! Great time to share
Unforgatable experience We had the most enjoyable time in morocco We learn how to cook moroccan pasitilla with chicken and its such a majic secret dish After the cooking class we had a very good tea . Me and my 2 daugher really enjoyed the class as we enjoy the family vibe .
Such a special day! We learned how to make the most amazing Moroccan salad, chicken and lemon tangine , beef and veggie tangine , and zaalouk. Better yet, we were welcomed into her home and got to experience a day in the life of a Moroccan family. I would recommend this experience to anyone interested in Moroccan food, as it was amazing. After three weeks in Morocco, it was the best chicken we had. Also, my husband hated eggplant, but since that class, he now loves it. Ten stars!!!!
