Itinerario

We had a very nice visit to the temples with my mom. Mohamed was an exceptional guide: he explained everything about the history of the place and taught us many exciting things about mythology. It was super interesting from start to finish! Besides, he was very kind and always helpful. We highly recommend this visit!
Great experience! The driver was very friendly and nice and so as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the temples. Both temples were amazing and we really enjoyed it.
Amazing to see in person I took so many pictures and videos. Trip of a lifetime. Don't miss this sight when visiting Egypt
We had an excellent driver. The guides that we met at the Kom Ombo and Edfu were good. It was a big day and we didn't get our "lunch" until the end of the tour at about 5.30pm but that seems to be usual in our experience having done some other tours. It was a good way to see things on the way from Aswan to Luxor.
The driver was punctual, good vehicle and very polite and friendly throughout. Mahmoud the guide of Kom Ombo speaks good Spanish and did a good job explaining the temple. Instead, the Mahmoud of Edfu (another guide with the same name) learned the visit by heart to say it in Spanish but did not understand the questions we asked him, spoke very quickly and we had the constant feeling that he was in a hurry to finish. The latter would not have been more important if he had not ended the visit with a 10-minute speech about his wife’s serious illness, making us feel bad, as if we were forced to tip him which we were going to give him as well as the previous guide. It was a very uncomfortable situation that left us with bad taste in our mouths. However the rest of the excursion was good value for money.
We took private trip with Samir Gabor to visit ancient sites. He is an excellent guide. Speaks very good English. He takes very good care of you. Always felt safe. He is very knowledgeable.
We felt it was not worth the price we paid. The trip advisor page says that this is a private guided tour. But only a car was private. There was no private guide for us. We met a guide just in front of each spot. It means guides changed at every sightseeing spot. Sometimes we had to take a guide with other people. And their explanations were not that good or kind. Moreover, the car driver was also not good. He didn't understand English at all and lost the way to Luxor. Finally, I had to show Google Maps on my phone. Can you believe it? I had thought the price of this tour was a bit expensive and had expected a much better one than it really was.
We had a great time and learned a lot from this tour- our guide Magdi was very knowledgable and he was very passionate about explaining the stories and history behind the temples (unlike some other guides we've had), and this made all the difference. He even offered us falafels (which were the best we've had)!
Magdi is one of the best Tour guides we have had in all our trips around the world. He is educated at university, and it shows in his attention to details. He took extra time to explain everything and you could tell he had a great love for Aswan and Egyptology. His English is exceptionally clear. At times you would almost believe him to be a native English speaker. We would highly recommend him to all and will be contacting him again when we return. 3 adults and 1 child of 11 years old.
Excellent way to travel between Aswan and Luxor with informative stops at two major temples. The guide Magdy and the driver were superb. Couldn't have asked for a better pair to travel with. We had previously had a terrible guide for a tour of Dashur and Sakkara (also from Emo Tours) but the guide on this specific tour was a hundred times better. Friendly, helpful, good English, great examples and useful commentary. It was a long day but the drive seemed to go quickly thanks to the interaction in the vehicle. This tour is highly recommended, but to be honest it largely depends on the quality of the guide (and to an extent the driver too). We got lucky with Magdy and Chicu (sorry can't remember the spelling, forgive me). This was one of our better days in Egypt
