Te invitamos a vivir la experiencia de descubrir esta Gran Ciudad. Una ciudad histórica con su arquitectura de estilo ecléctico europeo y neoclásico francés en muchas partes diferentes del centro de la ciudad. Pero, al mismo tiempo, viajaremos al futuro adentrándonos en el Barrio económico alto donde podremos apreciar edificios y casas con una arquitectura muy bonita y moderna. Te mostraremos y contaremos la historia de la Fundación de Santiago exactamente en el cerro más emblemático de Santiago, el Cerro Santa Lucía. Caminaremos por calle financiera, calle peatonal más concurrida, “PASEO AHUMADA”, el palacio presidencial, Plaza de Armas, Catedral, Ex Congreso Nacional, Mercado Central, museos como Pablo Neruda, Precolombino, barrio Bellavista, etc. Daremos un paseo en cualquier buen mercado de artesanía, cafetería, oficina de correo, restaurantes y en cualquier lugar de acuerdo con sus NECESIDADES solamente. Aquellos que querían almorzar, nos detendremos en cualquier restaurante según sus preferencias.

Itinerario
Desde su hotel nos dirigiremos directamente al Cerro Santa Lucía para explicarle cómo los españoles fundaron la ciudad de Santiago hace más de 400 años y, por supuesto, la historia.
Luego caminaremos y veremos la famosa Plaza de Armas donde todo está pasando... y hablaremos sobre la vida de Santiago. Luego veremos y hablaremos sobre diferentes edificios, como el Ayuntamiento, el Museo Histórico y Natural, la Oficina de Correos y la Catedral de Santiago.
Luego podríamos parar a almorzar... pero si no quieres... podríamos visitar la vida real de la gente real en el mercado de frutas y verduras más grande de la ciudad... el famoso "LA VEGA CENTRAL" donde veremos las frutas y verduras locales más populares. También podríamos conseguir unas deliciosas "EMPANADAS" al estilo chileno en una tienda local de empanadas.
Luego conduciremos y caminaremos por el Barrio Cívico, donde veremos y hablaremos sobre diferentes e interesantes edificios comerciales y gubernamentales, como la Bolsa de Valores, la Intendencia, la Casa de La Moneda, el Banco Central, la Corte Suprema de Justicia, etc.
Después de la zona histórica y del mercado de la locla... pasearemos por la zona moderna de Santiago como Barrio Sanhattan, Barrio El Golf, Las Condes y Providencia también.
Luego terminaremos nuestro recorrido por un área interesante de SANtiago donde se encuentra Vitacura en un "Rodeo Drive" de Santiago.

Our guide was very knowledgable and passionate on explaining the history of the city, it's culture and people. We went to the city park, downtown, cable car, Neruda museum and finally at El Galeon, the seafood restaurant before flying back home. The guide planned the trip meticulously so we could spend sufficient time at each locations.
The tour guide did a great job showing us the highlights of Santiago.
Hector was wonderful. Met us a bit later as our flight was late, then we went to the city centre. We visited many of the buildings and areas of interest. He was very aware of our need for walking no more than 30mins and worked the tour so we missed nothing. Great day

We used HecTour for a day trip in Santiago, Chile and a day trip to the wine region of Casablanca to the west of Santiago. I would highly recommend this company. The driver/guide was very punctual, professional and a very good driver. He guided us around the various historical areas of Santiago explaining in very good english, the history and significance of the different sites. He tailored the sites and itinerary according to what we wanted to see, we appreciated the flexibility . He selected 3 vineyards each quite different specializing in slightly different products. I would not hesitate using their services again in the future.
We did a six hour city tour in Santiago with Carol as our guide. The tour was very well organised, Carol is very knowledgeable, and we learned a lot about the history of Chile and Santiago

What was to be a half-day tour turned into a full day tour on our way back to the airport. HecTour was very flexible and in tune with what type of things we would like to see. The tour was custom made for us. Our luggage was safe in the Mercedes van. Our guide's English was perfect. We learned about Santiago's history from current day to the past. Stopping at many points of interest. We enjoyed walking around Cerro Santa Lucia as well as many other places. Not only did we learn some history, but we learned about and experienced some of the culture as well. Communication prior to the trip was excellent and timely. Communication during our stay was excellent as well. Highly recommend!
