Plaza de Tiananmen, la plaza pública más grande de este tipo en el mundo. La visita aquí le permite ver el exterior del Memorial Hall del Presidente Mao, el Monumento a los Héroes del Pueblo, el magnífico Gran Salón del Pueblo, el Museo Nacional de China, la antigua Puerta de Zhengyang y la Torre de la Flecha, así como la Torre de Tiananmen que conduce a la conocida Ciudad Prohibida.
La Ciudad Prohibida, situada en el corazón de Pekín, es el complejo palaciego imperial más grande y mejor conservado del mundo. Construido a principios del siglo XV durante la dinastía Ming, sirvió como hogar de 24 emperadores durante casi 500 años. Con más de 9.000 habitaciones, techos dorados y majestuosas salas, muestra la arquitectura tradicional china y la cultura imperial. Hoy en día, es Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO y uno de los monumentos más visitados de China.
El Templo Yonghe, también conocido como Templo Lama, es el templo budista tibetano más grande de Pekín. Famoso por su magnífica arquitectura y atmósfera sagrada, alberga una gigantesca estatua de Buda Maitreya de 18 metros de altura tallada en una sola pieza de sándalo. Los visitantes vienen no solo a admirar su patrimonio cultural y espiritual, sino también a pedir deseos y orar por la buena fortuna.
Templo del Cielo, el lugar para que el Emperador adore al Dios del Cielo en el pasado. Aparte de las estructuras antiguas, también verá escenas de personas locales haciendo varios ejercicios y entretenimientos en el parque circundante.

We were very lucky that it didn’t rain during our tour. Our guide explained everything in great detail and was very knowledgeable and patient. We visited several famous attractions in Beijing, and the children had a wonderful time as well. It was a very enjoyable and memorable experience!
