Fátima es uno de los centros de peregrinación más grandes del mundo, construido alrededor del lugar donde, en 1917, la Virgen María se apareció a tres pastores. Después de visitar la Basílica donde están enterrados los tres videntes, la capilla de las apariciones y la moderna Iglesia de la Santísima Trinidad, tendremos tiempo libre para orar o asistir a una celebración (opcional). Poco después, el recorrido se dirige a Valinhos, el pequeño pueblo donde nacieron los tres jóvenes pastores, y visitaremos sus hogares, teniendo la oportunidad de ver cómo eran las casas de la región a principios del siglo XX. Sinta - Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO, ha sido la residencia de verano de la familia real desde el siglo XIV. El microclima de Sintra, donde predomina la humedad, ayudó a la vegetación exuberante a prosperar. A menudo fue alabado por los poetas románticos del siglo XIX como Lord Byron. Tendrá la oportunidad de visitar uno de los diversos Palacios de Sintra en este recorrido y probar los dulces tradicionales.

El famoso Santuario Mariano de Fátima es sin duda uno de los centros de peregrinación más importantes del mundo. Millones de personas vienen aquí anualmente para rendir homenaje a los tres pastores que fueron testigos de las apariciones de la Virgen María en los campos de "Cova da Iria". Tiempo libre para asistir a misa (opcional), visite la Capilla de las Apariciones donde puede ver la imagen de la Virgen María. También visitaremos la Basílica donde podemos encontrar las tumbas de Lucía, Jacinta y Francisco (las dos últimas fueron canonizadas por el Papa Francisco en mayo de 2017, convirtiéndose así en los santos más jóvenes de la Iglesia Católica). A medida que continuamos, visitaremos la iglesia moderna de la Santísima Trinidad de Fátima, con capacidad para 8,633 personas y un área de 40,000 metros cuadrados. La iglesia fue diseñada y proyectada por el arquitecto griego Alexandros Tombazis. Tiempo permitido para compras religiosas (opcional).

As it was my last day in Portugal, I requested for half day tour to Fatima then drop off at the airport. Jorge picked me up on time in a beautiful red Tesla. His knowledge of Fatima was amazing, I learned lots about customs and the stories. I felt very comfortable and never had to worry. Upon return to Lisbon, he dropped me off at the right entrance making for a successful trip. I would definitely recommend this company for any travels requirements. Thanks Jorge.

Viator communication with us was professional from the time we booked our tour the whole way through. The day before our tour Viator reconfirmed our booking and gave us the driver/guide name, time, place and vehicle information for pick up. Rod arrived early and was fantastic and really worked hard to ensure our entire day was memorable and he even added another venue he thought we would enjoy while in Portugal.
