I had a fantastic private tour of the Candelaria District including stops at a local market, an emerald store and the Botero and Gold Museums. My guide, Martha Jamoco, spoke excellent English and shared a wealth of information about the history and culture of Colombia. Our driver, Gustavo, was always on time at our selected pick up locations and he picked me up and took me back to my hotel next to the airport. I highly recommend this tour!
Excellent. All perfect. Gigio has been a fabulous guide. When we said goodbye it seemed like he was already family.

I arrived to Bogota earlier that day, so it was nice not to lose the day, and was able to do this afternoon private tour. GIGO managed to squeeze in so many things for us to experience Bogota, even though it was raining.

Our group ( 2 couples) had a layover in Bogotá for 7 hours and they arranged an interesting city tour, keeping all the mind that we had to be at the airport on time for our flight, They were really flexible as we didn’t know how long our time was going to be ( delay with plane, time at customs etc.). Our guide Gildardo ( who was a fantastic guide and convinced us to come back one day for a vacation in this beautiful country ) was waiting for us, he showed us as much as possible we could see in an couple of hours and had delicious arepas. Also, the communication with impulse travel was perfect ( options were given, quick reply, etc)
Hi Brigitte, thank you for your lovely review! We’re so happy to hear that you enjoyed your layover tour and that Gildardo made your short visit to Bogotá special. It’s great that you got to experience a bit of the city (and some delicious arepas!) before your flight. We’d love to welcome you back for a longer stay in Colombia—there’s so much more to explore! Safe travels and see you next time! - Impulse Travel Team
We took the City Tour early September and were blessed with a beautiful day. Our Tour guide Gigio picked us up from the hotel on time. Since it was a private tour we were flexible in choosing our schedule and decided to visit Monserrate first to avoid the big crowds which was a good decision. Waiting lines for the Funicolare and Gondola were still quite short. What a beautiful place with phantastic views over most of Bogota. Next we went to the old town (Candelaria) and started our tour at the Mercado Concordia with an exotic fruit and juice tasting before we went through the old cobblestone streets with shops and restaurants and houses with interesting murials to the Plaza Bolivar with the Cathedral, Supreme Court Building, City Hall and Parliament. We decided to skip the Botero Museum but visited Museo de Oro. Gigio was full of information and answered all our questions. His English was perfect and he made the tour very informative and entertaining. After a safe trip back he dropped us off at our hotel. We highly recommend this tour and Gigio for a great and informative day in Bogota.
