Itinerario
Nuestro tour comenzará con una reunión en el vestíbulo de su hotel o un punto de encuentro designado si su hotel no se encuentra dentro del área. Comenzaremos nuestra caminata de 6 km por el sendero principal desde el Centro de Visitantes Petra, pasando por el Siq hasta el Tesoro. Luego, subiremos una montaña para una vista panorámica del teatro, seguido de visitas a las Tumbas Reales, la calle Colonnaded y Qasr Al-Bint. Esta parte del recorrido suele durar alrededor de 3 horas, dependiendo de su ritmo, con un mínimo de 2,5 horas. Tenga en cuenta que la escalada al Monasterio no está incluida en este itinerario. Sin embargo, podemos discutir visitarlo hacia el final del recorrido. Si quieres visitar el Monasterio, tendrás que subir 850 escalones. Alternativamente, puede regresar al Centro de Visitantes a través del sendero principal, que dura alrededor de 1 a 1,5 horas. Si prefiere no caminar de regreso al Centro de Visitantes, los carros de golf opcionales están disponibles desde el punto final de nuestro recorrido al Centro de Visitantes por una tarifa de 25 JOD por persona.

We had an amazing experience on our private tour of Petra with Bassil! He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional throughout the entire tour. He shared so much interesting history about Petra and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. Bassil was patient, answered all of our questions, and made the experience feel very personal and special. It was a wonderful adventure! Our Guide Bassil was very professional and brought all the necessary information on point. Every question was answered! Although the western media is warning about travels to Jordan we can tell you it’s is absolutely peaceful and safe!!!
We came to Jordan from the US despite all the bad press the Middle East is getting due to the war. Jordan is very safe, and there are no crowds! Bassil has guided in Petra for 18 years and not only knows Petra, but knows all the vendors and service providers in Petra. We had such a great experience with him the first day, we booked him to take us in the back entrance on the next day.

We had the best experience with Bassil on our first visit to Petra. He made a long day of walking easy and it was clear from the start how much he enjoyed his job and how knowledgeable he was about the area. Absolutely one of our favorite guides of the trip- he got us through some big sites in the first three hours and then gave us his recommendations for the rest of the day. Truly lived up to all our hopes and we can’t stop recommending Petra to be added to everyone’s travel wish list immediately! Given the conflict in the region, we had the site mostly to ourselves. It was amazing for us, but sad to see for the local economy. Everyone should stop questioning it and just book! Amazing experience.

Bassil was such a wonderful guide - friendly and personable. Our conversations were so enlightening, not only about Petra, but Jordan, and the differences between our countries, be it education, homes, energy and more. Highly, highly recommend. As a side note, we travelled during March 2026, and nearly had Petra to ourselves due to reduced tourism due to the conflict in the Middle East - we felt very safe and would encourage others that are considering a visit to go.
