Itinerario

I was in Berlin with my wife last October and we planned to visit the wall. We enjoyed the Private tour and we would recommend it.
Thanks very much for the good review and the recommendation!
My husband and I had a great time on our tour with Eugene. We learned so much about this historical time in Berlin. So much information that I had never known or heard about. So interesting that this was really not that long ago. The stories of individuals and their experiences are still are on my mind! Such a great tour! We are so glad we booked this! So worth while.
Reece was an awesome tour guide and he and my husband had a great time discussing common interests. The tour was really informative. Reece treated all of our questions and observations with sincerity and obviously loves Berlin. 100% recommend!
Cairan was very knowledgeable on the subject of WWII history and we found out he is especially interested in his he history of the divided city, and the personal struggles of its’ citizens. He had a great many stories and wove together a wonderful tour that left us wanting more. As a WWII history buff and a visitor to the divided city back in 1980 as a 15 yr old with my German Club. Things have obviously changed, and I was curious to see the differences and re-live some of that experience with my wife of 38 years. I was not disappointed and would encourage you to consider booking this tour as a private tour.
Our tour guide (Paul) was great. Very knowledgable. Paul’s narrative of the Berlin Wall & the events that led up to to the wall flowed seamlessly. Starting point & ending point were perfect
Great deep dive into history snd politics after WW2 and impact on Germany through 1989. Tour guide had great knowledge and was very thorough and courteous!
My wife and I have had a wonderful visit to Germany, mixing in a beautiful bike ride along the Elbe river, as well as touring some of the amazing historic sites in the region. On our visit to Berlin, we were really interested in learning more about WWII history. The Birchy’s Private Berlin WWII tour was perfect. We met our guide, Paul, near the Brandenburg gate, and we subsequently walked to a number of WWII historical sites around the city, We enjoyed the entire tour - including seeing the main historical sites in Berlin, but also learning so much from our guide Paul, who was well versed in the region’s history. He took us to all the main sites, he was well versed in WWII history and he took the time to answer our questions.
Cairan is the best tour guide. For the private tours, he picks you up at your hotel and makes a personalized start to the tour. He times the tour so you’re in every important place at a time that is the least busy and makes the most sense for timing of the tour. He shows you pictures taken by his mother during the 70s-80s. He tells the stories of people escaping the east, the escape attempts, and the people who didn’t see loved ones for decades when they either escaped or got trapped in either the east or the west. He shows you so many things that aren’t common knowledge. It is so interesting that you forget you’ve been walking for a long time. But, Cairan doesn’t let the group get too tired. He pauses in the middle for a rest break at a cafe with fantastic banana bread and cinnamon rolls. The tour is historical, personal, political, and architectural. I’ve never been on a better tour or had a more informed guide. I am HIGHLY impressed by this tour and by Cairan. I recommend both. Choose this and you will not regret it!!!!
We loved this tour, our guide Cairan was extremely knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail and always answered our questions enthusiastically. Thanks to him, it was an enriching experience to learn about the history behind the Cold War and the Berlin Wall. Would definitely recommend!
Darren is a very knowledgeable guide with a quirky sense of humor. Very straight forward on information and back story
