Comenzaremos nuestro viaje en lo que originalmente era un barrio obrero, que ahora es uno de los lugares más de moda de Praga. Su encanto industrial lo convierte en uno de los más singulares. Visitar Libeřské lahůdky es como visitar a tu abuela checa. Esta empresa familiar lleva más de 30 años elaborando con pasión pasteles, sándwiches y otras delicias checas tradicionales. Vas a devorar su producto estrella, que está volviendo loca a la ciudad.
Esta antigua fábrica ofrece una combinación única de espacios industriales con una variedad de experiencias culturales, artísticas y gastronómicas. Bajo un mismo techo encontrará una cafetería, un estudio de danza, un cine, un salón de eventos, una galería, un espacio multimedia, un camión de comida y una destilería. ¿Estás listo para probar?
La siguiente parada nos lleva a una antigua zona de matadero, pero no os preocupéis. Lo que antes era conocido por sus olores industriales, se ha convertido en el epicentro moderno y moderno de la cultura y la gastronomía. Es como el propio Soho de Praga, impregnado del encanto industrial de Chicago. Además, es una zona libre de turistas, donde podrá disfrutar de productos frescos de los agricultores locales en el mercado de agricultores más grande y auténtico de la ciudad.
Lo que los praguenses llevaban décadas soñando ya es una realidad: un puente peatonal conecta dos barrios de moda. La elegante arquitectura contemporánea complementa a la perfección el horizonte histórico de Praga. ¿Ser uno de los primeros en cruzar este puente y quizás incluso darse un rápido chapuzón en el río en la isla de Štvanice?
Tras una gran inundación, este antiguo gueto se transformó en el encantador distrito de Karlin, ahora conocido como la guarida de los hipsters. ¿Y la gastronomía local? Simplemente demasiado sabroso para resistirse.
La Iglesia de los Santos Cirilo y Metodio es una de las estructuras religiosas más grandes del siglo XIX en la República Checa. Construido a mediados del siglo XIX, se erige como uno de los hitos arquitectónicos más importantes del estilo neorrománico.
En el pasado, cientos de soldados marcharon aquí; hoy, es un lugar para divertirse y relajarse. Estos cuarteles se han convertido en el lugar favorito de visitantes de generaciones. Las principales atracciones se encuentran en el patio central, que cuenta con un arenero gigante, un cine al aire libre, una mini torre de observación, un bar, una sauna y una cancha de voleibol de playa. En la zona donde se encontraba la piscina militar original, ahora encontrará una elegante cafetería. Los garajes se han transformado en un club de música y una fantástica galería.

The tour included stops at a local pastry shop, Prague's only distillery, busy local farmers market, local wine shop and lunch savoring local favorites. Authentic Prague Food Tour If you want to get a sampling of what the locals eat and drink in Prague and an overview of the city while you’re doing it, this tour is for you! Tomàs was an outstanding guide and we enjoyed his company as well as his expertise. This was a great beginning to our stay in Prague. Drinking wine on the sidewalk outside a local wine spot with the snow falling was a highlight!

Thomas was great, we met and we were immediately immersed in Prague's rich history and delightful delicacies. From the beer and wine to the meats, cheeses and garlic stuffed peppers, the entire time we were together was full of laughter and delight. Tomas, took us to some unique food stops and made sure we got to know a lot about traditional Czech food. He was also very knowledgeable about the culture and gave us a great insight into daily life. Great walking and food tour! We had already tried a lot of local food, but we tried new stuff and learned about its role in culture, parties, family. Tomáš was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were in a nice neighborhood but it wasn’t touristy. The whole experience felt authentic. Definitely recommend Tomáš and the experience

Tomas was a great host. We meandered from place to place trying Czech delicacies we would never have found on our own. He told us stories as an accompaniment to the food that shared the local culture and history. With a good sense of humor and perspective we finished our sojourn with full bellies, an appreciation for the broad spectrum of Czech food and a palate appreciative of the local beverages.
