Amazing tour of Colonna Palace

Highly recommend our guided tour of Colonna Palace—so much history and elegance! Our tour guide enhanced our experience with art, family and Roman details. A must see.

Surprising, Shocking and unforgettable

Knowing this Palace, it was by chance, when passing through the street, when I entered I marveled, I do not expect it, it was great, I have seen many Palaces, but like this few, if you go to Rome, it must be a must, because it is price. We were treated superbly and very lovingly, I recommend spending time to see it, as we arrived very late and could not recreate.

Palazzo Colonna

The visit was really interesting, the Palace is extraordinary and rich in works of art of great artistic and historical value, our guide Rebecca accompanied us to discover the history of the Palace and the Colonna dynasty of which she is a great connoisseur, with great competence and transmitting us the passion for the subject. The only drawback, which does not concern the visit itself, was the behavior of the staff at the ticket office who in a very rude tone told us that our reservation was not valid as an entrance by incorrectly claiming that it was still necessary to download an app or call Viator assistance and insinuating that the portal often created problems. Everything was resolved a moment later as soon as we met the guide who had our tickets with him letting us in without any problem. Overall therefore very recommended experience

GO!

This is a must-see and I am surprised I hadn't heard of it sooner. In fact, I met some Americans who live part-time in Rome and they'd never heard of it either. The collection itself is extraordinary and it's worth the effort of arranging your schedule so that you can visit it when it's open. It's on a par or better than the Borghese (with more paintings and less sculpture). And I must compliment my guide who is expert in knowledge of the collection, history and more! This is personalized and is therefore much better than canned tours where they skip what I might want to know more about - you can stop and ask about anything you want to know about - architecture, decor, paintings, sculpture, the family, the story behind the cannonball, etc. I highly recommend this one.
