Escucha fado en vivo dentro de la única tienda en Oporto que todavía hace guitarras Portuguesas a mano. Esta actuación tiene lugar en la Casa da Guitarra, la única tienda de la ciudad que todavía elabora y exhibe instrumentos de cuerda Portugués hechos a mano, como la guitarra Portuguesa. Durante una hora, escucha el fado tradicional interpretado en vivo por artistas locales, con la guitarra Portuguesa tocada por el propio luthier y fundador. El lugar es pequeño y acústicamente íntimo, diseñado para permitirle experimentar la emoción del fado de cerca. Disfruta de la música con una copa de vino de Oporto. Intimate stage/venu located by the Ponte Luis I-bridge. The show lasted for about an hour, with a short break when they served a shot of port wine. The to singers performed with almost a heartbreaking nerve. Great show!

The guitarists - particularly the one who played Portuguese guitar- and the bass player were fantastic - a great rapport between them too! One of the fado singers was particularly good with a very rich voice and great presence. Thoroughly enjoyable evening.

This was one of my favorite experiences in Portugal! The performances were so beautiful and I was happy the audience wasn’t all recording everything on their phones. It was nice to just experience the music.

A convenient location for a commercial type fado show. There are other options that are better and slightly more economical.
Dear Michael, Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you found our fado to be commercial, given that our concert presents fado in its purest and most traditional form. As we explained at the entrance, the concert unfolds spontaneously, with the fado singer choosing what to sing on the spot, depending on how she feels at that moment. Furthermore, Casa da Guitarra was the first venue in Porto to offer fado concerts in the form of a show, and its long-standing reputation has indeed helped it establish itself on one of the busiest streets in the city centre.
