La escena del chocolate de Portland es abrumadora; permítanos guiarlo a través de sus orígenes, creadores apasionados y diversidad con este recorrido a pie que profundiza en lo que algunos llaman "decadencia" pero que nosotros llamamos "deleite". Y no podríamos cubrir el chocolate sin la semilla tostada de nuestra otra baya tropical favorita: ¡el café! Portland es conocida como el corazón del mundo del tueste de café artesanal, con tantos tostadores pequeños, amantes del café que somos, que luchamos por probarlos todos. Nuestro recorrido recorre los lugares más destacados y algunos de los secretos de la escena del chocolate, con algunas sorpresas que no queremos revelar. El recorrido en total es de aproximadamente 2.0 millas (3.5 km), en su mayoría caminata plana, con degustaciones de chocolate y café, ¡la cantidad justa para que tenga la oportunidad de saborear realmente cada sorbo y bocado! Mantenemos grupos muy pequeños, por lo que tendrá una experiencia íntima con sus guías entusiastas. Caminaremos por el funky Portland West End y nos detendremos en Azar Indulgences, donde la propietaria Christine Azar ha diseñado su combinación ideal de ambos chocolates artesanales de estilo belga de la compañía de su familia en Líbano. Los chocolates únicos de Azar están hechos en una tradición familiar que se remonta a más de un siglo; probaremos una selección de nuestros chocolates favoritos (aunque para ser honestos es tan difícil de elegir!).
Una de nuestras paradas habituales es Menos y Más Café – ¡seleccionaremos otras cafeterías en los días en que lo requieran las horas o el grupo! Cada cafetería es elegida para contar con los mejores y más interesantes tostadores y baristas locales
En el Distrito Cultural, caminaremos y describiremos el museo de arte y su papel en la adopción de la artesanía de la ciudad mientras nos dirigimos a una de nuestras cafeterías favoritas.
Nos detendremos en un total de dos cafeterías, dependiendo del interés y del guía, que podrían incluir Detrás del Café Museo y Menos y Más Café. Aquí nos adentraremos en cómo el café es parte de la vida cotidiana de Portland y cuán profundamente los tostadores de café de Portland han influido en la ciudad y el mundo.
Nuestra segunda tienda de chocolate está en el Pearl District en Portland. Horario y días varían, así que esto dependerá del grupo, fecha y guía!

My husband and I knew we were in for a treat because we had done another tour with this company. And we were not wrong. Shannon was our guide and took us on an exploration through Downtown/Downtown adjacent Portland for all things coffee & chocolate. What a super fun time. We enjoyed two delicious cups of coffee and two chocolate tastings--both very different, both very yummy. We have returned to all four stops. And along with the treats for our bellies, Shannon treated us to wealth of treats for our brain about the history of Portland, things to do in the area & nearby, favorite restaurants/etc. She was so knowledgeable and so much fun. We could not believe the tour was over because the three hours flew by. You will not be disappointed if you book this tour.

Quick and informative walking tour filled with Portland's delicious coffee and chocolate. Friendly guides offered different beverage options. Make sure to have water and walking shoes ready to go.
Such a fun tour! Kelly was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable about the locations we visited as well as the city as a whole. Coffee was amazing at the two locations we stopped at, and the chocolate locations were fantastic - I’m still thinking about them! There are several restaurants I want to check out and places we want to visit (courthouse, library, shops!) based on what we learned while walking between locations. Wear comfy shoes for walking. Highly recommend!
Nancy was our tour guide; she was on time, was friendly, very knowledgeable. We got a bit of Portland’s architectural history. I would love to have her as my tour guide for any other activity in Portland. Highly recommend her!!!!

This was a nice leisurely tour with five stops for treats. I loved the recommendations from the tour guide for her favorite items to try. You should have an awesome experience.
This tour was great. The cloud custard iced mocha at Less is More was one of the best drinks I have had. Kellie is fabulous. She's knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly loves her adopted home town. Two thumbs up!
