Conduciremos hasta el vecindario SW Portland de Arlington Heights, en el borde de Washington Park. Aquí daremos un paseo por nuestro jardín secreto favorito y entraremos en el International Rose Test Garden, presentándole la historia de la ciudad de las rosas. (Cuando las rosas no están en temporada, podemos hacer una parada alternativa en Hoyt Arboretum).

What a fabulous way to see this beautiful city and learn about its rich history! Our guide, Carrie, was wonderful- so well-informed. She shared everything from facts to what types of plants and trees we were looking at! And a gracious host as well - the donuts were a welcome treat! 3 hours was a perfect amount of time to get to know Portland a bit better, and in a comfortable, air-conditioned van. I highly recommend!

Great tour and guide, love the view from the mansion, the rose garden and the free donut. Weather was good, we lucked out we were the only 2 in the tour. Van was comfortable. Portland the birthplace of the founder of Nike and the writer of The Simpsons.
We have fun going around Portland, Oregon. Our tour guide Shannon was kind and very knowledgeable about Portland. We learned a lot from her.

Carrie did a great job explaining all aspects of Portland. There were only two of us on the tour and we appreciated that they did not cancel. This was a winter tour so the roses weren’t in bloom, but the views were still spectacular. Thanks Carrie for making it interesting!
On a foggy January day Sarah's tour truly made Portland shine. Her deep knowledge of city history along with humorous anecdotes about early residents was both impressive and a lot of fun. She tailored the trip based on our questions and interests. I would come back to Portland just to take another one of her tours!

Sara was great, explained history & different areas of the city. I chose her trip because it was an overview drive tour to areas I wanted to see in a town I was not fully aware of. The day was warm, clear, balmy & on that day had opportunity to try a Sesame donut and tried a unique cold dish of Geoduck @ Southpark Restaurant at her suggestion. I like to see and try things different things outside of my usual routine. Thank you for a great event!
