Durante aproximadamente 2 horas, descubra Oporto desde el río mientras navegamos bajo sus emblemáticos puentes y a lo largo de los históricos paseos costeros de Ribeira y Vila Nova de Gaia. A bordo, disfrute de una degustación informal de 4 vinos de Oporto de calidad de pequeños productores del Duero, seleccionados con Blend.pt, servidos con pequeños maridajes para resaltar cada copa (no es una comida). Douro Marina; Comenzamos nuestro viaje en Douro Marina, en el pintoresco y tradicional pueblo de Afurada.
Diseñado por el arquitecto italiano Nicolau Nasoni, la Torre de los Clérigos, de más de 75 metros de longitud, fue terminada en 1763. Inicialmente su función era la de campanario, pero con el paso de los años acabó siendo también utilizada como punto de referencia para las embarcaciones, así como como punto estratégico para combate militar. La visita a la Torre dos Clérigos incluye un recorrido de 225 escalones hasta la cima donde podrás disfrutar de vistas panorámicas de la ciudad de Oporto y Gaia.
Se trata de un puente metálico de dos tableros, construido entre 1881 y 1886, que conecta las ciudades de Oporto y Vila Nova de Gaia separadas por el río Duero.

El Monasterio de la Serra do Pilar es un austero Iglesia del siglo XVII. Ha sido clasificado por la UNESCO como Patrimonio de la Humanidad desde 1996. La Iglesia, catalogada como Monumento Nacional, destaca por su planta circular, cubierta por una imponente bóveda semiesférica, rodeada por un balcón y coronada por una linterna. En su interior destaca la talla dorada y blanca. Conserva un hermoso claustro, también clasificado como Monumento Nacional, con bóveda de medio punto con nervio central sostenido por 36 columnas jónicas. Este monasterio manierista es un ejemplo único en Portugal, ya que la iglesia y el claustro son de planta circular, modelo procedente de la arquitectura civil. Su situación geográfica fue crucial en 1809, durante las invasiones de las tropas napoleónicas y en 1832-33 como base militar durante las luchas liberales. Elevado a la categoría de fortaleza, desde entonces se ha convertido en cuartel militar.
El Puente D. Maria Pia es una infraestructura ferroviaria que transportaba la Línea Norte sobre el río Duero, entre las ciudades de Oporto y Vila Nova de Gaia, en el norte de Portugal. Fue inaugurado el 4 de noviembre de 1877 y cerrado el 24 de junio de 1991, siendo sustituido por el Ponte de São João. Es considerado, junto con el Viaducto de Garabit, como las mayores obras maestras creadas por el ingeniero Gustave Eiffel. En el momento de su inauguración, era el puente con el arco de hierro más grande del mundo [Desde entonces está clasificado como Monumento Nacional. mil novecientos ochenta y dos.
Con 66,35 ha, la Reserva Natural Local del Estuario del Duero está situada en la orilla sur de la desembocadura de este río, cerca del pueblo pesquero de Afurada, abarcando Cabedelo y la bahía de São Paio, donde hay una marisma. Entre los valores naturales que protege destacan las aves que aquí viven o pasan por aquí y que pueden ser fácilmente observadas, al estar ubicada en el corredor migratorio conocido como “Ruta del Atlántico Este”.
La experiencia finaliza en la desembocadura del Duero, justo al lado del Océano Atlántico.

There are many boats that do the same 6 bridges trip, so it’s all about the crew. Paulo and Nadie were very friendly and made us feel among friends. They supplied us with hats, music and adjusted drinks to our taste. There’s space on the boat with shade and also in the open for sun seekers.

Incredible experience! What a lovely boat with amazing hosts. We loved cruising the river, seeing Porto from the water, and tasting some fine port wines. Nadia and Paulo were extremely hospitable and even gave my two-year-old his own "wine" (juice) and snacks to share in the experience. They also made sure to have a life jacket available for him, which was important to us. Could not recommend this enough. Lovely, intimate experience where you're treated as one of the family. Major plus was having one of the best port tastings you could ask for!

We didn’t have an idea of how the tour would be and were happily surprised. We were greeted by our hosts Nadia and her husband and immediately were presented with warm reception. When we were onboard were accommodated and made feel as if it were the boat owners and they were there to sail boat for us while we relaxed and took in the scenery. They provided a delicious port wine tonic cocktail as a welcome drink which was absolutely delicious and refreshing. The provided a lot of history of the region and six bridges on the Dourous River. We were also presented with a great charcuterie board and other delicious port wine tonic. They had warm blankets to shelter us from the cold weather. A very lovely and hospitable couple. Thank you both for giving us such an amazing experience.

We were in Porto in November, a bit unlucky with bad weather, on the day of the cruise on the Douro river we arrive at the meeting point and we discover that we are the only two participants. We thought we'd be asked to cancel or move, and instead we left anyway. It was a beautiful and surreal experience, very few boats on the river, at one point we were the only ones with the whole view to ourselves. The weather also graced us and we were able to enjoy part of the trip outside, sipping port wine and relaxing. It was a really nice experience. Thanks to Nadia and Paulo who treated us divinely, two very kind, nice and super professional people!

This was THE best port tasting experience I had (I did 3 while in Porto). This husband and wife team really know what they are doing. She thoughtfully paired the different ports with foods that enhanced the flavor. No boring lectures here. And as we passed landmarks little anecdotes were told, very endearing. Even though there were no sunsets to be seen, this is THE port tasting experience in Porto. Thank you Nadia and Paulo!

We had a wonderful time on this sunset boat tour in Porto! We sat on the outside seating on the boat and were very comfortable, when it got colder we were immediatly offered blankets. It felt like the whole experience was well planned and thought through. The views of the city from the water were stunning, and the experience was made even better with a delicious cheeseboard, drinks, and a lovely port wine tasting. The couple who run the tour are so warm and welcoming, and they also share interesting explanations about the landmarks along the river, which made the ride even more special. Generaly the whole experience felt very personal and authentic – truly a highlight of our trip and highly recommended!
