Itinerario

The children had a world of fun with the water courses. The park is nice for spending a fun day. The beach area is nicer than the pool area since the games are only suitable for small children and then... our flip-flops were stolen. All in all, a nice day of fun, especially for the little ones.
This was my first time visiting Popeye Village and it was and amazing experience. I had a lot of fun, enjoyed the activities, and even participated in filming a movie! It was a very fun experience! My favorite character was Constan
After regularly booking the entrance tickets well in advance, you get the bitter surprise of not finding any sunbeds available on the small beach..... The only sunbeds available were in the pool area, a 10-minute walk from the sea and uphill. The pool area consists of 3 above-ground pools, hmm....
Passable, or even not recommended, due to several factors: The entrance price is exorbitant, formerly (a few years ago) at €15, now at €25, it is way too much for the little that a park smelling of trash cans offers. (Even if this problem applies to the whole country which is far from being an example of cleanliness) Admittedly a movie set (forgettable B-movie by the way), the sets are rather pretty in the cove, the houses and the museums/snack bars/exhibits that make them up are maintained, but nevertheless rather uninteresting for Popeye who is not really a star on the level of a Mickey or Donald. We will therefore come mainly for one of the rare tourist attractions on the island, and its sets. Attractions, by the way, there are none strictly speaking, I think the desire for profit has given birth to this horrible mix of "Popeye" music and beach club/inflatable game which is exasperating. To the right of the hosts in costumes, in the "theme," to the left of the Club Med-style village chiefs shouting into their unbearable, distorted microphones to drag the crowd and the children into the water, you will therefore have a clever mix of the film's musical theme and a Bahamas hotel-club. Crowds are otherwise suffocating, as the attendance is huge and the heat is dreadful in August (regardless of the park on this point), almost no air-conditioned room in the entire park (which would be better called a museum), nor a fan for that matter, nor shade, at over 91°F (104°F felt), forget this place. I did not taste the food and do not advise you to do so, the service is slow and "assembly-line," like a Disneyland. Be careful, the place is isolated, for an urgent hunger, arm yourself with patience, there is nothing else to do around. To summarize: I do not recommend it in summer and especially not at 25€, perhaps in the fall/winter when prices must be lower anyway.
I was there with a friend of mine, very, very beautiful and quiet, from the village to the food to the sea. It was a beautiful day.
Fun family friendly entertainment. Beach is lovely and floating obstacles were out so plenty of fun. Just very hot and little escape from summer heat in this village. Sun beds taken up very quickly but not all by people there to enjoy the popeye memories. Made a great movie with the cast who were super friendly and fun. Nice way to remember the lovely Robin Williams.
Great especially for children but also for adults. It is better to go early to get the available sun loungers. The play platform on the sea is fun, the pizza is good. Truly unique location and beautiful sea.
Much more than a movie set, a beautiful cove. Inside there are inflatables and free sun loungers that you can take with the ticket admission. Bocce courts and bathrooms full of comforts. A place to spend the whole day
Great place to go with friends and family. Get there early to follow the plan. Avoid going between end of June and mid August. Best plan for April or September if you can. Adults without children will not enjoy the experience as much as adults with kids in the ages 8-12. There is place for changing, showering, storing a midsize backpack.
Go on a day when the sea is calm. Brilliant water obstacle course and snorkelling. Equipment hire (e.g pedalo expensive). Lots of family fun.
