We did a 2hr tour with Gio. She was very responsive to all messages leading up to the tour qnd she is a very knowledheable guide. It was a super hot day but we learned a lot. It was a memorable experience and are so glad we got to experience a bit of history!

We had a wonderful family tour of Pompeii with Gio. My kids are 10 and 12 and pretty advanced students, so I had actually been on the fence about whether to book a kids tour or an adult tour, and I’m so glad I booked the kids tour. Our family was fully engaged and Gio vividly explained life in Pompeii. She is an absolutely fantastic tour guide. It was a truly unforgettable experience. She also helped arrange transportation for us to and from Positano, and we had a great driver who took the roads slowly so we didn’t get car sick. We highly recommend!

Gio was absolutely amazing! So much so that we ended up booking a second tour with her! We chose the Pompeii for Kids tour, and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made. My children (aged 10 and 13), as well as my husband and I learned so much. Gio had a brilliant way of structuring the tour to keep everyone engaged which is no easy feat given the sheer size of Pompeii. She also went beyond the usual routes to answer all our questions and bring the experience to life. Her knowledge and passion was clearly just fabulous. Two days later, we booked a street tour of Naples with her, and it was just as fantastic. We’re leaving this incredible city feeling far more knowledgeable and inspired and we’ll definitely be back. Pompeii for children is a unique experience! Being accompanied by an experienced and extremely informed guide is the added value that makes everything even more unforgettable! Our 9,6,5 and 4 year olds listened to Giovanna with great interest, because she was very patient and engaging! Even we adults were able to appreciate the numerous information narrated and it satisfied all our curiosity. For this reason we strongly recommend everyone to live this adventure in an ancient and fascinating city like Pompeii. Two hours is really short though, so we will definitely come back! The Kids' Tour of Pompeii with Giovanna was wonderful! She knew exactly how to engage my 9-year-old daughter, with movement, interesting tales (the grosser the better) and good questions every so often. We went from a complaining kid "no, Mom, not another ruin, BORING" to "can we go again sometime?" This is thanks to Giovanna and her tales of life in Pompei and the eruption. Thank you so much Giovanna, for making it the memorable tour I had hoped for!
