Excellent combo of educational tour, invigorating hike, and delightful lunch and wine at a pretty vineyard. Door to door transport made the day a breeze.
What a great day. Pompeii is amazing and is best done with a tour. And while most people only did Pompeii we went up to the top of Mt Vesivious, walking to the very top. After all that it was time for lunch and tasting at a beautiful winery!!!! The food was amazing! All in all, it was a fabulous day!
Thank you for choosing us !
There was no information after the Pompeii part and before the volcano that we should grab a bite in between and that lunch would not be until 3 pm. Frankie was a great tour guide. He was very personable and informative.
Everything was fabulous!! Our Pompeii tour guide, Frankie, was so lovely and knowledgeable and we enjoyed the whole morning with him. Our driver, Toni was very sweet and made us feel safe and helped everything run smoothly and on time. The wine tour was brief (which was perfect after a long day of touring). It was so beautiful and the food was delicious!!
We loved Frankie, our tour guide in Pompeii. Pompeii was so interesting! The hike to Mt Vesuvius is quite a hike but a great accomplishment. The winery lunch was delicious. A little bit more traveling then what was expected and we felt badly for coming into the winery all dirty after our hike on the volcano.
Fun experience hiking Mt Vesuvius and then touring Pompeii with Frankie. He was very informative and kept the tour lively and fun. And he always stopped the group in the shade!
My friend and I did this experience in April and definitely recommend it! The pickup service was punctual and picked us up a 30 second walk from where we were staying. All the drivers were fantastic! The Pompeii tour was amazing. It’s such a big area to cover in such a short amount of time, we both felt that our guide did a great job in showing us the highlights. He was very personable and definitely knew his stuff. We were driven to Vesuvius after Pompeii and given more than enough time to hike up, enjoy the views and wine from a little vendor (the wine was questionable but who can turn down wine on a volcano?!), and make it back down. We are pretty quick but noticed everyone in our group had enough time and the driver made sure we all made it. Last was our wine tasting and lunch. It was extremely cute! The wine’s were quite good, especially after walking and hiking all morning, and the lunch was delicious. It was a small group of us, my friend and I as well as two other couples, and we found the size to be perfect. Not to mention the others with us were great company!
Excellent experience, great tour. We've been to Pompeii before(20 yrs ago) and learned so much more this time! SASA is a great guide@
Absolutely Perfect ! Highly recommed whole day Tour ! Our guide Francesco was the best ! After 3 hrs of walking Pompeii , i was driven to Vesuvius i went hiking for abour 45 min only because it was cold and i didnt have appropriate warm attire . Since i was the only one whO had opted for the day tour this was possible .They acutally give you more time for hiking .Then went for wine tasting with lunch and the views from the winery are overlooking the gulf of Serrento i hope i spelt it correctly. The whole day was amazing ! Please dont miss this experience ! Cant wait to return !
Great experience overall! On-time pickup from Positano and nice transportation. If you aren’t aware, keep in mind the drive is very windy but great views along the coast. Pompeii was given life with Sasa’s tour guidance. Wish we had more time to tour or wander on our own some but knew we could only see so much in 2 hours. Visiting Vesuvius was worth it but be aware it’s a nice grade the whole way up on lava rock/gravel so prepare accordingly. May not be physically for everyone. Our day happened to be SUPER windy and it was definitely cold at the top but glad we did it. The views from up there are unreal. The wine tasting was a beautiful experience. Lovely venue, food and wine. We are used to wine tasting in the states where everything ends in a sales pitch but they didn’t do that here—although we would’ve bought a bottle to have later that evening. Overall, a wonderful day. Nice sized group (10 ant Pompeii, 6 after) although I suspect that was mostly due to us visiting in off season which still meant a lot of people at Pompeii and Vesuvius but not crowded. I’d recommend this tour.
